Corn Dogs

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
I made mini ones because I didn't have any skewers. I liked them but they weren't as crispy as I would've liked.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I made this as a loaf of bread and it came out delicious. I added more cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg as well as some coconut just because. With or without those things it is perfect.

Apple Cake V

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This is the second time I have made this cake and I love it. It is a very sweet cake, but wonderful with a cup of coffee of tea. The first time I made it exact and it was delicious. The second time I reduced the sugar and it was still delicious. I have had many compliments on this cake. Thank you for a great recipe.

Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
This was just O.K. The breading seemed a lil too much and the sauce didn't taste like a sauce I've had with a blooming onion before.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
I gave this 4 stars cause I loved it but the boyfriend didn't. I didn't add black beans cause bf doesn't like them, so I put refried beans on bottom and then added the chicken mixture on top. Added sour cream on top and extra salsa once it was done, and then dipped out with extra tortilla chips. It was excellent.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
Totally loved this cake. Was so pretty after I prepared it. I did double up the coffee and I used homeade coffee liquer instead of Kahluha, and also doubled. Made for Christmas and my mom said it was worth a blue ribbon. Really creamy and very good. I'd give it 20 stars if I could.

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
There was way too much butter and I even cut the amount in half. I was hoping the potatoes would crisp more in the oven, but they didn't. Too much ranch for my taste, you couldn't even taste the potato itself.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Made this for the boyfriend and I and he groaned. The only soup he likes is chili and I wouldn't call that a soup. He surprisingly loved it. Made the soup and grilled cheese to go with it. It was awesome. Didn't change a thing and the boyfriend went back for seconds, and the next day that's all he wanted to eat.

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
If you have never made homeade stuffing, make this. I was skeptical having never made it but it was to die for. So much better than StoveTop. I baked it the day before Thanksgiving. Then on Thanksgiving day I took the juice from the turkey and added to the stuffing, then reheated. Everyone loved it and I vowed to never make the box kind again. Needed more seasoning then called for and I did use extra liquid because we like it more. Thanks for a great recipe.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Great pie. Very easy to make and very elegant looking with the lattice top. Poured filling over the top and didn't make a mess, all went in. It did spill over some in the oven but I had a pan underneath. Also tried this recipe as sugar free omitting white and brown sugar and replacing with a cup of Splenda. My father is diabetic and he said he loved it and to definitely make again.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
First time making homeade crust and it was delicious. Was very chewy inside and crispy outside. I will be making again very soon. Also added more than 2 1/2 cups of flour at the end. It was still too sticky to start kneading.

Grandma's Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
I made this for my boyfriend's birthday. He said it was O.K. I didn't quite like this recipe. I was hoping that the filling would be creamier and not harden up so much after being refridgerated. The chocolate sauce didn't cover the cake as much as I hoped it would.
