Thai Style Shrimp

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
This was REALLY good. I followed the recipe pretty close to exact. I don't understand how people said it was too mild. Perhaps they didn't use a good jalapeno. Or perhaps they got rid of the ribs of the jalapeno. Or who knows... Anyway, we really liked it. It is soupy, but I just treated it like a curry and it was really good over rice. Oh, I did use a can of diced tomatoes that I drained instead of fresh because I didn't have fresh ones. Still worked.

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
I baked it for only 20 minutes. I am VERY glad I did. They shouldn't have been baked more than that. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. These were really good and made a great start to the day! Highly recommended!

Bacon-Topped Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
This is probably the best meat loaf I have eaten (sorry, Mom). It doesn't need to be soaked in ketchup. Everyone at our house liked it.

Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
I did 30 min at 375 covered, followed by 20 min at 350 uncovered. Other than that I made no changes. We had it with steak and broccoli. The steak overpowered this, so it would probably go better with ham or chicken. But it was VERY good and everyone in my family liked it.

Super Grouper

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
I cut the butter in 1/2 and there was still at least 1/2 of it left over. I would probably do 1/8 cup butter next time.

as is, bland, bland, bland. We ended up rescuing it by putting pesto sauce in with it.

Salmon, Rice, and Fried Tomatoes

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
family didn't care for the dill lemon pepper rice. salmon was just ok. There are better recipes. And fried tomatoes did not turn out well. (I think that is due to my not having the oil hot enough though.)

Anthony's Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2007
Yummy, although the times are incorrect. There is no way this takes 1hr 45 min. It takes about 45 min to brown the chicken, bacon, etc. and then 20 min in the oven. Should be approx 1 hr.

very yummy. We will make this again. Pesto and chili paste matched each other nicely. Fresh parmesan grated made it very good. Had it with sugar snap peas.

I used olive oil instead of butter and I think I could have used less. It also had less garlic taste than I expected. But good.
