Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
absolutely the best oatmeal fruit bar ever. I used 1/4 c softened reduced fat margarine, 1/4 unsweetened applesauce and for the flour I used nutriblend by robinhood. I also used "twice the fruit" light blueberry spread for the jam DELCIOUS, I sprayed pan with non stick and used parchemnt paper allowed to cool completely and bars were easy to removed from pan. Thanks so much for sharing.

Peanut Butter Temptations II

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
Theses cookies are delicious. A word of caution:make sure you wait until the cookies are completely cool, like suggested. I left mine for two hours to cool, if you try and remove them too soon, the small outer circle, around where you pushed in the peanut butter cup will be pulled off~of course you can still eat the bottom of the cookie but it's best to wait. Also mine took about 12 minutes to bake, they don't really brown but they start to look dry and a bit cracked when done. Thanks for sharing!

Coconut Gumdrop Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
I loved these cookies. I omit the pecans (just b/c I do not like them). Use baking gums in the cookies, they come in just red, green, orange and yellow. These gumdromps are small so all you have to do is snip them in two with a pair of scissors~very quick! I used margarine instead of shortening and the cookies came out fine. Also I flatten them slightly with a spatula just as they come out of the oven, while still on the bakingn sheet, I find this makes them chewier (is that even a word?)then I remove them to cool as directed. Exactly as I remember from childhood~thanks for sharing an excellent recipe.

Banana Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
I think these muffins are delicious. I like oatmeal but sometimes find its taste can overpower a muffin, honestly it doesn't here. These are easily the best oatmeal type muffins I have ever had. I add an extra banana because I love that banana flavour. Thanks for sharing karen.

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
This is hands down my favorite apple crisp recipe! I like that there is one bowl and no cutting in required with the butter. My son is 4 and he loves to help in the kitchen, this is exactly the type of easy, delicious recipe he can help with. You cannot go wrong with this one. I even use the crumb mixture as a streusel-type topping for apple muffins. Thanks so much for sharing!

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
I love this recipe, it makes moist and flavorful muffins that don't need frosting. This is even better( in my opinion) than the offical Robin Hood flour website recipe for Banana Bread. Freezes well too, thanks for a SUPER recipe Kevin.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2006
The are awesome, only change is I add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon with the dry ingredients but I love cinnamon so I like them that way. Definitely make the crumb topping it takes these muffins from good to DELICIOUS!! (also try making these in paper muffin cups as the sugar cinnamon topping can become sticky)

Kristen's Awesome Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2006
theses cookies are awesome, I've made them both with and without chocolate chips. (Of course I didn't add the cinnamon when adding chips) I used a mini ice cream scoop to drop cookies on sheets, then after 10 minutes of baking, I flattened the puffed cookies slightly with an "egg flipper", then baked for 3 more minutes this made them super chewy inside and crispy on the edges absoulutely DELICIOUS just like the bakery this way! Thanks very much for the recipe Kristen!
