Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Ok. Followed the recipe exactly - the filling had a floury taste, and pieces of the rhubarb were a little crunchy (I cut them 1/4" thick). The flavor was pretty good, but the four was WAY too heavy - I will search for another recipe next time.

Best Ever Banana Bread

Very sweet and cake-like. Missed the mark for me on banana flavor - just too mild. I followed the recipe exactly and it came out fine - the inside moist and dense, and the outside slightly crisp and sweet. It just didn't pack enough banana punch for me.

Boring, bland and unexceptional. I followed the recipe to the tee, and was left disappointed. I assumed since this was the top pick for muffin recipes that it must be great, but would recommend NOT making this recipe

Almond Tea Cakes

Ok, after all the work to get these things made I was prepared to give this a low rating because of what a pain in the butt it was. HOWEVER, once I tasted them I had to give them five stars. Delicious! There are a few issues with the recipe however. There is a massive amount of dough in this recipe, next time I will cut it in half. I doubled the almond filling and I would recommend doing that. Even doubling it I only had enough filling for half of the dough. But, they are so good if you like almonds!

Sugar Cookies

In a word "AWFUL". Will not use this recipe again. Not only was the dough a pain to work with for cut-outs (I chilled overnight and it was still very sticky to roll out - then when you put enough flour on to make it roll easier it became a crumbly mess). To top it all off, the flavor is totally bland - tastes more like a cracker then a sugar cookie.

White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Pretty good. I would recommend baking them for 12-14 minutes if you want a little more crispiness to the edges of your cookie, or else they are extremely soft. VERY chocolately, which is great - but I think it needed some more butter or salt to balance it out. Probably would try a different recipe next time and wouldn't use this again.

Coconut Macaroons III

I had to cook these for over 20 minutes for them to get them even slighly golden. Wasn't thrilled with the stickiness of the cookie either. Not the best macaroons, and I wouldn't make again.

The Best Lemon Bars

Wonderful! I baked the crust for about 25 minutes to get it truly golden. These have a great tart flavor and the crust held up well and didn't crumble, which is a problem I've had with other recipes.
