Mother of 3, wife of 1, working from home and trying to keep the plates spinning :)
My favorite things to cook
Breakfast, especially the 5-7 item buffet style that stresses me out but I get so many smiles when it's. I also love trying to sneak "healthy" things into regular meals, like vegetables in pasta or chili. I love vegetables, but the other 4 in the house do not share the sentiment other that the standard peas and corn lol.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cabbage rolls from my Mom; corned beef hash from my Dad, Extra cheesy scrambled eggs from my husband (it's one of the only things he will make)
My cooking triumphs
I catered a wedding (everything except the meat which was smoked on site) It was stressful but fun. Didn't charge enough to cover the ingredients, though - lesson learned!
My cooking tragedies
My first attemp at baking - convinced a babysitter I was allowed to use the oven when I was 7, used the ingredients that seemed right at the time; flour, milk, egg, sugar, ans my father's Creme de Menthe. Never measured, and baked in an angelfood pan at 200 for 1 hour. Had this giant green cookie that no one would touch because it reeked like minty booze lol
