Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
I was like many other reviewers who were not sure how this would turn out by just adding the chicken with the margarine and italian seasoning package. This turns out very well, nice and creamy. Husband enjoyed this version of stroganoff.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
These were flavorful and of course messy to eat but as they should be. After reading other reviews I also opted for the cheaper chuck roast and this was super easy to shred. I had mine cooking for a longer time period as we were gone longer than expected and this did not dry out at all. This made lots so I was able to freeze half for a later use. I also forgot to throw on some provolone cheese on top of each sandwich which really would make these that much closer to Heaven. LOL!! Thanks for a great recipe.

Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
I just thought this sounded way too easy but this turns out so good. I bought a cheaper cut of port chops than what I normally do and these turned out delicious and the meat fell off the bone. My company was impressed.

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
Not my typical spanish rice but it was good. I sauteed the onion and green pepper with the beef and then added everything else. I used chunky style chili style and it gave it a nice sweet taste. Didn't see the need to pop in the oven so did it all on top of the stove.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
I followed the suggestions of another reviewer SandraM (Oct 8/2006) and these were YUMMY!!!!!!! This is super easy to throw together and I liked browning them in the oven rather than on top of the stove. This is one of my top recipes for meatballs and was a sneaky way of getting my hubby to eat ground turkey. This is a MUST TRY recipe.

Southwestern Haystacks

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
Thanks to all the other reviewers for their great suggestions on improving this dish. I am not sure how I would have rated it had I done it as written. I added garlic and onion to the meat while frying and also added extra spices with everything else....a generous helping of chili powder helped the taste really stand out in this hearty casserole. I also cut way back on the pasta. Sour cream is a must to top.

Despite all the work to do these it is well worth it. Absolutely delicious and two thumbs up from hubby. I followed others suggestions and baked the potato the previous day.

Quick to prepare this tasty moist chicken. Loved the fact all ingredients can mix in the casserole dish to coat the chicken and then pop in the oven.

Surprising good!!! I wasn't sure on zucchini mixed with the green chilies but this had a nice blend of flavors. This was not spicy in the least so we enjoyed it.

Aside from baking the potato in the microwave I did everything the same. Turned out great. Goes well with homemade chili sauce.

Polish Meat and Potatoes

Very good meal!!! I was surprised at how quickly the potatoes cooked through. The only thing I would change for next time is add more potatoes, they were delicious.

Good old fashioned recipe and quick to make. I cut my potatoes very thin so had no problem cooking them in the alloted time. The chops turn out moist and delicious and the onion/potato mixture was very tasty.

Steak Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
My hubby and I both enjoyed this dish very much. I had some leftover cooked sliced carrots and a few mushrooms that I sliced in as well. Threw the left over puff pastry that I had on hand and voila...dinner was ready quickly and used up a lot of leftovers. Will definetly make this again.

Phyllo Chicken Packets

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
Excellent!!! Very elegant looking and so easy to do. I forgot to season the chicken but didn't even miss it because we found the mayonnaise mixture tasty enough. I was worried it wouldn't cook the chicken breast in the time stated but it did, very moist and tender. Thanks for posting this fantastic recipe!

Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker

Perfect recipe for a large gathering as it makes lots. I cut the brown sugar in half as other reviewers suggested and I also did not add as much pineapple as I am not a fan. Leftovers are great also.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
Very good.I marinated the pork chops overnight with 1/2 the sauce and then continued with the recipe the next day with the other half of the sauce. Make sure you poke holes in the chops so the marinade soaks through.
