Easy BBQ Bake

Excellent! The sauce is very good and I used it over mashed potatoes also as it made lots and I didn't want to let one drop of it go to waste.

Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

Reviewed: May 22, 2007
This is an absolutely AMAZING and DELICIOUS dish. The flavors in this are tantalizing and I was worried about too much garlic but it was just perfect. I let mine marinade all day and this was so good, it got gobbled up quickly. Well worth getting your rice wine for this recipe. Thanks so much for posting this one.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: May 20, 2007
Definetely tastes like you spent an afternoon preparing this. I liked cooking the potatoes and carrots under the chicken for a complete meal. Meat fell off the bone, I cooked on high for 2 hrs before turning down to low.

Meatball Potato Supper

Reviewed: May 8, 2007
I agree with YUMMY on browning the meatballs in a 425 oven for 15 minutes. It was great to do it that way without having to worry about turning them over, and by the time they were browned my potatoes were sliced and ready to throw all together. Great meal.

I made these with blackberries and they turned out perfect. Nice and moist and not too sweet.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 8, 2007
These were very good with a few modifications. I pan fried minced garlic cloves and some chopped onion in 1 tbsp olive oil for a bit before adding the chops to brown. I added the garlic/onion to the soup mix when I poured it over the chops. This made amazing gravy. Thanks for this super easy recipe.

Mandarin Chicken Saute

Reviewed: May 5, 2007
This is not as orange tasting as I had hoped even though I used the jellybelly jelly beans and left them in the sauce as another reviewer suggested. I also agree with everyone else....double up on the sauce.

Maple Sausage Skillet

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
This is absolutely delicious. I changed the servings to 4 and browned the sausage up a little more than the 3-4 minutes as suggested and then I added the vegetables....we really enjoyed the onion/mushroom mixture with the smokey taste of the sausage and the maple syrup did not overpower. I did find the pepper came on a bit strong though so next time will just cut back a smidge. Thanks for posting this one...I got to pass this recipe on to others who enjoy unique ways of cooking sausage without a lot of ingredients you don't have on hand.

Herbed Sweet 'n' Sour Chicken

Disappointing...where was the sweet and sour taste. Won't make this again.

Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I only rated this 4 stars because as it is written it is pretty good but with suggestions made by other reviewers it turned into a 5 star recipe. I added more garlic, mushrooms, and I should have added some green pepper. Whatever you like on your pizze throw into this dish along with some more seasoning. I also used pizza sauce instead of the spaghetti sauce and that was a big plus.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Very quick and easy to throw these moist and flavorful chops together. Better than shake and bake.

Maria's Pepper Steak

Really good pepper steak and the sauce was quite tasty served with rice. I added a frozen oriental vegetable mix that I had preboiled a bit before adding.

Mandarin Chicken Bites

These are very tasty tidbits. Works well as a meal served with rice or as an appetizer. The sauce was really mild, nice orange taste, a little touch of brandy as other reviewer suggested made a nice addition.

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
I made this using hash brown potatoes and fresh broccoli. It was a little bit on the bland side, so next time will season the potatoes first. We also found this a bit soupy, but still quite tasty.

Mandarin Beef Skillet

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
Very fast throw together meal, reminded us a lot of chop suey, bamboo shoots and even bean sprouts would be a nice touch to this. I also agree with other reviewer on the flavor being a bit on the soft side, I think the soy sauce is right amount but maybe more ginger would definetly be a good idea. All in all it is a good dish.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2007
Salmon turns out absolutely amazing, just make sure you use 100% pure maple syrup, it makes a big difference. I also added a tbsp. of freshly grated ginger and it was really good. I marinated the salmon overnight in a foil lined pan and then just popped it in the oven when the time came. I allowed 1/2 hour and it came out perfect. My sauce didn't burn off at all so I was very happy about that. Thanks for posting.

Darn Good Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
We liked it although next time I would cut back just a touch on the mustard because that taste does come through quite a bit. I loved the nutmeg in this, very different. The sauce is excellent for dipping the chicken in and it cooked up nice in the marinade....didn't waste a thing.

Chicken Spaghetti Casserole I

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
An easy throw together dish that is very satisying. I did not have white wine in the house so I substituted chicken broth and it still turned out fine. Pimento is a nice touch in this, although one can of soup leaves it on the dry side. I will make again but do as other reviewers suggested by adding an extra can of soup.

Butter Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
One of the best roast chicken recipes I have tried. I do not normally buy chicken with the skin on but this was so very good, nice and crisp skin with moist flavorful chicken within. I also did as past reviewers and did it as a whole chicken stuffed with a couple cloves of whole garlic. I also found the butter could be cut back a little but the sauce did turn out delicious. Enjoy!!
