NO fuss no muss what could be better than this. The meat is moist and delicious. The sauce is sweet but oh so yummy!!!!!!! Next time will double the sauce.

Apple Chicken Stew

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
I just threw everything in the slow cooker, no prebrowning chicken. I also used more apple cider as per other reviewers suggestions. The chicken comes out nice and tender but the vegetable were still not cooked through even after 9 1/2 hrs on low. :( Disappointing.

Quick Chicken with Asparagus and Provolone

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Steamed my asparagus separately and then added just a bit before the chicken was done. Thanks to all the reviewers who suggested adding the provolone about 1 minute before taking out, it sure melts quickly.

Garlic and Ranch Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
Really good turkey burger with lots of flavor even by having to cook on the stove. The only drawback was they did not hold together very well so either cut back a bit on the worcestershire sauce or add just a bit of breadcrumbs.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
Very moist meatloaf but held together well. I added A1 steaksauce to the meatloaf and topped with a mixture of ketchup and brown sugar as past other reviewers suggested. Leftovers were better.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
Absolutely delicious and super quick to throw together and then off all day to sightsee with my company. I seasoned the roast using an all seasoning blend, no prebrowning needed. Gravy was plentiful and just needed thickening, gobbled up quickly with mashed potatoes. We enjoyed coming home to this fulfilling meal. Budget friendly.

Easy Apricot Chicken in a Pan

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
I made only half this recipe since it is only the 2 of us and it was absolutely delicious. I normally do not care for apricots but it was just the right sweetness for the sause which is great over the rice. I found the sauce to be perfect.

Hamburger Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
I read past reviews and did as some suggested and used some garlic while frying the beef. I also seasoned it with seasoning salt while browning. I think this dish would be a little bland if you do not season the meat. I do a dish similar to this layering peas, sliced onions, etc and seasoning each layer with salt and pepper before pouring the soup mix over top. I think this dish is very versatile.

Colombian Turmada Potatoes (Papa Turmada)

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
Nicely seasoned and very simple to make this dish. Leftovers were good also. I used a mild italian pork sausage so there was lots of meat to go around. I am not sure though what the purpose of the bread was in this dish since it was not a lot.

Zesty Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
This recipe we found to be a 4 but could easily turn into a 5 star. Very easy to do but the chicken still lacked some flavor. I marinated my chicken all day in about 3/4 cup zesty italian dressing. I chopped the potatoes into bite size pieces but the 1 hr cooking time was still not enough. The chicken is moist and juicy and the potatoes are fantastic and full of flavor. The only thing I will do next time is season the chicken.

One-Dish Chicken, Vegetable and Rice Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
We found this a little on the bland side. It was nice and cheesy though. I didn't have the wild rice mix so as another reviewer said rice a roni worked just as well. I suggest thawing out the frozen vegetables before adding. Just a little over an hour was needed to cook.

Glazed Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I have never attempted to make my own chicken wings before but this recipe sounded so easy and rated well so thought I would give it a try. I took some suggestions from past reviewers and these wings turned out great!!! I found lining the pan worked out quite well and was a breeze to clean up after. I seasoned the wings with seasoning salt, garlic powder and onion powder. It does make a lot of sauce but we do like our wings saucy. Baking in a 350 oven for the 50-60 minutes was perfect cause my overly sensitive smoke detector didn't go off. Messy to eat but definetly finger lickin good. Will do this one again instead of going out for chicken wings.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
We have had pepper steak before but not in a crockpot so I thought I would give this a try. We found it very disappointing as a pepper steak, kind of bland.
