Grill Master Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I'm from Buffalo and these were the best wings I've ever had. I didn't change anything about the recipe. They were perfectly spicy (they didn't burn your mouth, but had a nice kick).

Classic Cherries Jubilee

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
This was amazing. I substituted almond extract for the cherry extract, along with a little vanilla. The sauce was too thick, so I added some more water and orange juice. I also left out the orange zest. I'll definitely be making this again.

Chicken Biscuit Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
The biscuits were mushy on the bottom but cooked on the top. If I made this again, I would cook the biscuits separately from the chicken mixture.

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
These were perfect: soft but not too soft, a crispy exterior, and great taste.

Ibby's Grasshopper Pie

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
My boyfriend and I didn't like this at all. It tasted very boozy, even medicinal.

Mom's Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This recipe was very bland. I had to add a lot more salt and oregano, and even then it didn't taste like much.

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
This was very simple and delicious. I cut the recipe in half but otherwise made it exactly as is, and it was great.

Grandma's Corn Chowder

Amazing. I also used chicken broth instead of the water.

Jagic (Assyrian Cheese Spread)

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
This was excellent. I didn't have celery so I left that out, but otherwise made the exact recipe. I served with both tortilla chips and bread...it was much better on the bread.

This was really greasy, like eating butter soup.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
This was great, much cheesier tasting than my normal baked ziti. I used sausage instead of ground beef, and it worked out well.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
This was much better than my usual apple pie recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except I added 1 tsp cinnamon and a little nutmeg to the sauce. It looked amazing, and tasted great. Next time I might try adding 1/2 the sauce to the apples and 1/2 on top.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
This recipe was amazing. I doubled the curry and added a little cayenne as others have suggested. I used the full amount of butter, I think it made the chicken very juicy. I cut the recipe down to 1 serving and used 1 chicken breast. I baked it covered with foil for 30 minutes and uncovered for 30. At the end I skimmed of the extra fat and poured the sauce over the chicken. Incredibly delicious!

Thai Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
I agree with the reviewer that said this was just "okay". The peanut butter didn't mix well with the other liquid ingrediets; adding it directly to the chicken and broccoli made it so there were clumps of peanut butter that weren't evenly distrubuted throughout.

Marinated Greek Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This chicken was really bland, and the yogurt burned onto the outside of the chicken. I will not make this again.

Greek Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I made these exactly as the recipe stated, and they were very good. The ones I get in Greek Restaurants are a little more flavorful - next time I'm going to try adding more lemon juice and garlic. I don't think it was too watery - at the end I spooned the extra sauce over the potatoes, and it was great.

Jenny's Jambalaya

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
This was great - it was perfectly spicy but not too hot. I did not have an electric skillet, so I just used a normal one. I also left out the shrimp.

Shrimp Bisque

Reviewed: May 6, 2007
This soup was AWESOME. I only wish I had made more. I cut this down to 2 servings, which still barely filled 1 smallish bowl. I used real half and half (with fat) and omitted the butter. I also used a food processor, which was kind of a disaster - I guess my food processor isn't liquid-tight. Next time I'll separate out the non-liquid ingredients, and blend those together sans liquid and mix it together in the end.
