Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
I followed the recipe mostly as described and served over egg noodles. Like others said in their comments, I cooked the chicken breasts whole then tore apart once cooked and that worked just fine. I was a bit worried that the sauce was going to come out too thick so I added some water to it after I dumped the cream cheese and soup in, but in retrospect I may not have needed to. We definitely enjoyed this and I expect we'll make it again. Very quick, easy, and tasty.

Three Pepper Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
I made the recipe as described, except I added some chicken. It came out pretty good, but seems to be a bit lacking in flavor. If I make it again (and I'm not sure that I will), I may add salami or pepperoni next time.

Watermelon Summer Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
Followed the recipe largely as is except that I used less mint than listed. This was pretty good the first night -- unusual, but surprisingly tasty. It didn't really keep so well for the second night, though. So don't plan to make enough for more than one night.

Summer Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
Followed recipe as described except that I omitted the celery salt and carrots (don't like either). Came out great! Definitely will be making this again.

Pumpkin Burgers

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
I made this with ground turkey instead of ground beef and it came out fine. Quite tasty, we'll definitely be making this one again in the future.

Easy French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2006
Rather hard to get fully crisp because it's on the soggier side, but it tasted really good. You really have to beat the liquid well before putting each piece of bread in to make sure the cinnamon is well mixed, otherwise it separates out. Next time, I'll probably try more egg and less milk, to see if it makes it less soggy.
