Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
Really really really good. I cooked a small rack for 30 mins at 350 and it turnied out perfectly. I also used oats rather than bread crumbs and it was perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

Real Welsh Rarebit

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
I made this tonight to top off an old Kentucky favorite, Hot Browns. It was a delicious sauce, and a perfect compliment to the flavors of turkey, bacon and tomatoes. I tasted it before and after the beer and definitely thought it added nicely to the flavor.

We loved this bread. I did use raisins and sunflower seeds for the fruit and nuts and it was lovely. Thanks for the post.

Mexican Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! I love this recipe. I tweaked the recipe and also added some zest of lime and lemon. I also cut back dressing to 1/4 cup oil and vinegar also cut back on salt and used 1/2 green pepper and 1/2 red. Also added chopped freshe tomatoes. I made the night before and added the frozen corn the following day. Fantastic :)

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
Really good Chicken. Too much salt, so I used less than half the but the other measurements per the recipe. We had this for a casual dinner party and I used quarter chickens. Roasted at 350 for 1 1/2 hours...perfect. Thanks

Chococonut Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
These are really good. I tried to make with applesauce and not butter and they turned out ok, but obviously much better with just butter. :)

Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
Amazing , I LOVE IT! I put the marinade on, in the cap of the mushroom and let them marinate for about 15-30 mins. I also always add balsalmic sauted onions. Then I broil them in the oven and add the cheese in the last few minutes, they are always fantastic!

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
Fantastic! I always double and use a 9x13 pan but I only put in 1 1/2 cups of sugar. I have made these countless times and they are great!

Irish Tea Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2008
I really enjoyed this cake. I lined cake pan with baking paper on the bottom only and it came out beautifully. It has a lovely taste and I agree it is better if you bake it a day before you want to use it. Cheers

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
This was very, very tasty but crumbly. I read many reviews and followed suggestions using honey instead of corn syrup and 2/3 of a cup for peanut butter and honey but used recipe amount for brown sugar (otherwise too sweet!). Two BIG SUCCESS SECRETS... use parchment paper rather than greasing the pan, they just glide off and no mess. Also don't add salt into the mix just sprinkle with a tiny bit of salt after you press into the pan. Amazing :)

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
These are fantastic brownies! I made these for a party last night. I doubled the recipe and used a 9x13. They were a perfect thickness. I sprinkled the brownies with chocolate chips as soon as they came out of the oven so I did not use the frosting. I served perfect brownie squares with semi-melted chips sitting beautifully and vanilla ice cream. Beautiful!

Food for the Gods

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
These were very good. I used 3/4c for the sugar and butter. They came out beautifully and I received compliments. I am rating three stars per recipe using too much butter and sugar. Made that way, they are too oily and rich.

Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2006
I made this for dinner tonight and it was wonderful. I made a few changes that I would suggest if you want to turn this into a main course. I added diced chicken breasts and onion. I also used a can of mixed beans rather than the garbanzos on their own. This is a fantastic meal!!
