Chicken With Mushrooms

I made this exactly as directed and didn't think it was that good. It was fairly dry and bland. If I try this again, I will take the reviewers suggestions and saute the mushrooms before hand, add either chicken mushroom soup to the sauce or wine, and maybe add a sharper cheese. I think covering the dish while baking it might help as well. Overall, I would not make this as-is.

Five Minute Ice Cream

EXCELLENT! I think the problems people are having with this recipe relate to the amount of berries they are using. Use a 16 oz bag of strawberries/berries. Also, it needs to be made in a powerful food processor - NOT a blender. I got excellent results on the first try! I've even brought the ingredients and my food processor to a friends' dinner party to make it as dessert. It's quick, easy, and SUPER tasty! FIVE STARS!

VERY Yummy (with modifications). First off, I halved the recipe since it was huge. Then, I used one large onion chopped (instead of onion powder). I also used 3 large garlic cloves (instead of garlic powder). I used cream of chick soup since that's what I had (instead of cream of mushroom). Finally, I used about 2 Tbls of skim milk (instead of evaporated milk). It was excellent and I'll definitely make this again!

Peach Cobbler V

Good recipe. I made this today and both my husband and I enjoyed it. It's a nice Fall treat. Based on the previous suggestions, I made the following changes to the recipe: I added 1 tsp of cinnamon, about 1 Tbls brown sugar, 1 1/2 cups flour, and I used canned peaches rather than pie filling. I actually used one 29oz can AND one 15oz can of peaches and added all of the juice from the 15 oz can. Based on how it turned out, the only change I would make is to add MORE peaches. I had already used 23 additional oz of peaches, but it still seemed like there was more dough than peaches. Next time, I plan on using 2 29oz cans of peaches. One additional note: It makes more than 8 servings. More like 12. Four stars.

Meat Loaf Pie

Yummy! I kept the recipe mostly the same. However, I did not use a pie-crust (since I didn't have it and it just adds calories). I simply put the ingredients a casserole dish. I used butter and garlic flavored instant potatoes and mozzarella cheese instead. VERY good! Will make again! Thanks!
