Pineapple Cracker Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
It wasn't bad, just kind of bland. I felt like it needed a little something else, just not sure what.

Took to potluck, everyone LOVED! Actually used the meatball recipe from my Betty Crocker cookbook, and the sauce from this recipe.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This is a great and very easy recipe! I happened to be out of packets, so decided to try this, it was with spices I already had on hand. It ended up tasting to good I'm not going back to buying packaged mixes!

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This is a good and easy recipe, especially if you don't want to bother with softening butter. I added a 1/2 tsp. of almond extract and it was perfect!

Great recipe. Freezes well and stays very moist. Would taste great with a little cream cheese icing drizzled on top.

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
Hard to believe that this cheeseball is so great and only uses 4 ingredients. Definitely make a day ahead, cheeseballs always taste better the next day after the flavors have time to sit together. Everyone always loves this recipe!!!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
This is the best tortilla soup I've ever had! I just threw frozen chicken breast in the crockpot and shredded it after a few hours. Also, I added a can of black beans and substituted a 1/2 cup water for an extra 1/2 cup enchilada sauce. I would recommend using fire-roasted canned tomatoes, they make a big flavor difference. Served with corn chips instead of making my own. Everyone that ate agreed it was delicious!

Chewy Maple Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2007
These were delicious cookies! My fell flat too like some other reviews said, but still tasted great. You don't taste the coconut much, just gives it a good texture. Next time will try adding nuts, butterscotch chips, maybe even drizzle some maple icing on top. Yum!!!

California Fusion Peach Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
With peaches in season I used fresh ones and I was excited to use my 5-spice powder b/c I don't have many recipes using this. I was disappointed with this recipe though, it didn't taste bad (reason I still gave 3 stars), just felt like it was missing something. Tried serving will grilled pork tenderloin and also w/tortilla chips. Tried adding a touch of sugar, ended up adding pre-made salsa to give it more flavor. It still tasted like it needed something else, neither me or my husband could figure out what though.

Dragon Dippers

Reviewed: May 7, 2007
Instead of using butter I just sprayed with cooking spray. These turn out great following the recipe. Try brushing lime juice onto before baking for a different flavor, you have to use alot for the taste to come through. I've already made these a few times and will definitely be making again!

Spicy Corn Dip

Tastes best with Fritos Scoops. Make sure to add enough jalapeno's to give it a little kick.
