Turkey Bake with Whole Wheat Pasta

I am not big fan of ground turkey, so used mild Italian sausage for a bit more flavor. Used 3 garlic cloves (per suggestion of reviewers). Also used reg Penne pasta (had on hand). Also sprinkled a smally amount of shredded Parmesean over top. Definately needed the extra baking time at a higher temp (350 35-40 min) very good recipe.....will keep making

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

I used 3 cloves of garlic and skimped on the spinach and nowhere near the amount of ricotta. Can't wait to try this creamy sauce on ravolli or angle hair pasta!

Crunchy Green Bean Casserole

10 stars! Today I left the recipe out for my husband to make while I worked. He states the only changes he made was to add more bacon (6 strips) and used SMOKY MAPLE bacon. He used fresh cut (or whole cut green beans - not French style). Was awesome!!!!!!! a new favorite!

RWOP Finalist: Breakfast Empanadas with Chipotle Cream

I gave 4 stars because the filling was an excellent taste, however did not like in the biscut covering. Made way too heavy! I will use the filling net time on crackers or baguette, would even be good in cherry tomato?

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Used cream mush soup instead of Cream of chick (all I had at home) and will continue to use! Then only thing I will do different next time is make the patties into MEATBALLS! The presentation of the "patties" shrunk and looked like blobs! Still tasted great though. I also quatered red potatoes and cooked high one hour to soften them, then back to low rest of time

Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip

This recipe was just too "spinachy" for me (even after adding 1/2 C mayo and 1/2 C sour cream. Will make again, but will go 1 C mayo and 1 C sour cream (as well as clove ove minced garlic). Thanks for the base recipe however!

Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

WAS AWESOME....BUT use FRESH BASIL AND FRESH MUSHROOMS (IF ADDING MUSHROOMS). I left out the green peppers too due to picky kids. I DID as others and added 1 tsp sugar. Added one more garlic clove, 1.5lb ground sirlion and one more 8oz tomatoe sauce.... I made a day in advance and sat in fridge till ready to reheat - was excellent!

Chicken Marsala

the chicken was very moist, but if not for the additional sliced onion and 2 cloves of garlic, I think this would have been a waste of time and money (boring). Maybe I should have served over some pasta. It was just ok and will probably not make again

Make-Ahead Potatoes

I LOST COMPUTER POWER AND HAD TO PUNT: AFTER THE FACT..... used onion salt (rarther than dried onion) 8 tlb butter, sprinkle of garlic powder, and did NOT bake covered 40 MIN!!! I Baked uncovered only 20 min ...with the extra butter! turned out excellent! I don't think you can mess this one up!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

ONLY THING I WOULD DO DIFFERENT IS CUT SALT IN 1/2 AND ADD AT END (IF NEEDED AT ALL). I doubled this recipe and not sure if it was my ham, but it came out very salty = TOO SALTY (and I typically love salt). IS DEFINATELY A KEEPER WITH THE SALT MODIFICATION.

Roast Beef with Coffee

I have never had a roast in the crock pot come out dry???? But this too happened to others. Could it have been from the deep slits in the meat to place the garlic? Will definately not make again.......ruined a very good piece of meat.....ps added can of beef broth too from advice of others with dry meat.

Taco Salad I

was confused on if to drain the chili beans or not - huge amount of liquid (with french dressing and water) for 1 pound of meat? I ended up NOT draining liquid from chili beans BUT used just over 2.5 puonds of ground beef. Added only 1/3 of the water too. GREAT FLAVOR with the whole combination....we put in taco bowls with fixings! Definately will make again!

Was ok...slilghtly bland after seasonings. Did not use cilantro (in potato soup?) but did like the tarragon. May make again? Probably will try different recipe first.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Taste was very good, but all of my liquid did not absorb. Needed more pasta or less liquid. I drained the remaining liquid as my pasta was getting way overdone!! Next time will add some sauteed red pepper ? for color?

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Crabmeat

I could not believe only 3oz of cream cheese......too fishy for me, so I used 8 oz and kept everything elese the same for the filling = filling was perfect. had left over and ate with crackers. I used ritz crackers and baked 375 40 min (with small tabs of butter on top of chicken - to brown). Was overall good / different, will probably make again? The crab dip is a keeper with the 8 0z cream cheese

Oven Fried Chicken III

THink I will use Italian bred crumbs next time and go easy on the Mayo. I did not care for the thyme taste to this......just my personal preference. Easy / quick, will make again, but not outstanding in my opinion.
