Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
I made it just as the recipe states and it was so good! This dish got rave reviews at our dinner table tonight. I have frozen half for a quick dinner another night...hopefully it will be just as good. Now, if I could only get the house to stop smelling of curry!

Honey Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
Awesome muffins... I received MANY compliments from my mom's Bible study group this morning. Used apple juice, half canola oil/olive oil (ran out), and added 1 cup shredded carrots. Recipe made 2 dozen muffins. Will make again...next time I will follow the recipe exactly as I bet the results will be the same (but I didn't have any pineapple juice in the house.)

Butter Dip Breadsticks

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
Better than I expected for something that was so easy to make! I used garlic salt and added some parmesan cheese to the butter. The breadsticks were the perfect compliment to our beef barley soup on this cold winter day!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
The taste of this soup was awesome...even my husband who isn't a soup lover like me said..."hey, this is really good." It was really thick, more like soupy mashed potatoes and I do think that I would add a little more milk next time I make it. I also sauteed an onion first before melting the butter since I didn't have green onions. I plan to give the rest of the soup to a friend since it made so much...I hope her family enjoys it as much as we did!

Chicken, Garlic, and Sundried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2006
Very good...used cream of mushroom because we were out of cream of chicken. Next time I will use half the pasta so that it is a little more saucey as a previous reviewer suggested. We put half the leftovers in the freezer...hope it's good when we pull it out and make it in a pinch!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2006
Soooo good! My husband just asked me if I could make about 5 dozen more for him to take to work on Monday. I put all the dough ingredients in the breadmaker last night before I went to bed so that the dough was ready when I got up this morning. Just rolled it out, put the filling on it, let it sit on the stove top for 30 minutes while the oven was preheating and baked for 15 min (they were a little more brown than I would have liked but that's my dumb oven's fault.) Great treat!! Thank you!

Linguine with Clam Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
Our 2 year old absolutely LOVED this...she asked for more twice and ate just about as much as we did. It was a little too oily for me and next time we make it we will cut back on the oil and use olive oil instead of vegetable oil.

Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2006
I was looking for a quick cookie to make today and I found it! It was easy to put these together because you could do everything using one measuring cup and one measuring spoon. My 2 year old loved helping me dump the ingredients into the Kitchenaid and in a short time we had really yummy, soft and chewy cookies...perfect! Too bad we have to ruin the fun and do dishes now:(

Texas Sheet Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
After reading about this southern favorite online I looked up a recipe. I chose this one because of the rating and I had the ingredients on hand. It was quick and easy to make, however, after tasting the batter, I was really hoping for a chocolately brownie type cake which isn't quite what it turned out to be. Those who commented on it at our church potluck today though said that it was great...how bad can chocolate cake with chocolate frosting really be??

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
I have made this recipe many times and love how quick and easy it is. Made it this morning for my in-laws and they loved it too. Ham, mushrooms, onions and co-jack shredded cheese were in it for breakfast today but have made it before with spinach or whatever else we have on hand! It does take about 5 minutes longer to bake firm than the recipe states though...

Greek Penne and Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
Meal was good but had a little less flavor/spice than we normally like...our 2 year old ate 2 servings though! Less pasta would have been a good idea if we would have read the reviews before we tried it and I will probably add a little white wine to the sauce and marinate the chicken to add a little more flavor if I make it again.
