Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
These are delicious. I have taken them to 2 parties and everyone wants the recipe. I did decrease the mayo by half because I cannot justify using as much as it calls for. I also added pickles on one of the batches (it was actually a wasted since the meat overpowered the pickles).

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
These were pretty good but I did not care for both cheese and cream cheese. I would have liked it more with one or the other.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
This is definitely not a true philly but it is a wonderful sandwich none the less. I was intrigued by the garlic mayo but did not put much on for fear it would not taste good. I was wrong. The mayo makes the sandwich so don't skip it! I am thinking of using the garlic mayo on other sandwiches now.

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
This was pretty good. I sauteed an onion and added salt, pepper and garlic powder. I also added a light dusting of bread crumbs on top. It looked like chicken spaghetti but, with all that Parmesan, it tasted much better.

Garlic Parmesan Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Needs more garlic powder or some fresh garlic. Other than that it was tasty and pretty. The kids thought it was a treat to pull their own bread.

Frosted Grapes

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
A friend suggested making these for New Years Eve and I was appalled that someone would take a nutritious grape and add sugar to them. Plus it sounded unappetizing. I was wrong. We used sugar-free off brand jello and it was still amazing. I have made these 3 times since then and even the picky eaters and fruit haters loved it. I have made them both frozen and refrigerated (I prefer refrigerated, but might try them frozen again this summer). WARNING: These are highly addictive.

The name says it all! As a matter of taste, salt can be omitted from marinade.

I LOVE these beans! Savory with only a hint of sweetness, just the way I like it.

Beer Butt Rosemary Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This was sooo good. The chicken was moist and tender and the potatoes had a faint hint of rosemary. I used russet potatoes as that was all I had. I also basted the chicken with fresh squeezed orange juice. When the chicken was done I had a lot of juice in the pan so I added it to chicken stock and mixed in corn starch for a wonderful gravy. My brother came over later and made a chicken and potato sandwich with havarti cheese and said it was the best sandwich he'd had in years.

Spaghetti Torte

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
What a great twist to regular spaghetti. I used cottage cheese instead of ricotta and I place meatballs cut in half between the layers. Finally, I topped with cheddar as this was all I had. The whole family enjoyed it.

Basil Cream Chicken

My husband felt the pimentos overwhelmed the sauce and one of my kids would not eat it but I thought it was nice.

Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
These were the hit of the party! We made both slices and strips. The batter was a little bland but we just salted the jalapenos when they came out of the deep fryer. I will definately be making these again!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

This was pretty good. I accidentally used dark soy sauce but not even that could ruin this chicken.

Wiener Schnitzel

What a wonderful recipe! Easy to make and very delicious. I used pork instead of veal and my cooking time was different because of the thickness of the meat.

This was a delicious dish! I doubled the sauce and added about a tbs of flour to thicken. We didn't have any left over.

Italian Style Pork Chops

I like this recipe better with Italian bread crumbs. Too much crackery taste, or maybe not enough seasoning.
