Polish Meat and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Oh, my--we all loved this! I am not a fan of green peppers, so we substituted a variety of colored peppers. The onions were delicious!

Awesome Spicy Beef Kabobs OR Haitian Voodoo Sticks

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
AMAZING!!! Everyone--absolutely everyone--loves these! We did cut the cayenne down to 3/4 tsp, and it was plenty for me, but hubby and son preferred 1 tsp.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
We loved these! We didn't have any green onions handy, so we substituted diced white onion. It was very good, but we think the green onion would be better. Thanks for the recipe!

Molasses Crinkles

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
These are really delicious! They are easy to make (two 14-year old girls made these with no help!), pretty simple, and it makes a decent amount of cookies. Just remember to save time to refrigerate the dough. We sprinkled water on top of the sugar to make the cookies crinkle in the oven.

Hamburger Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
We really loved this soup! I did not thicken it, since we like broth-y soups. I didn't have any celery or onion on hand, so I added an extra can of diced tomatoes, and about a tablespoon of dried minced onion. Yum! It is a perfect soup for the pressure cooker...makes the ground beef very tender and tiny.

Mexican Rice III

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
This rice was amazing! We quadrupled the recipe for a family gathering, making the night before and reheating it in the microwave the next day. Everyone loved it! Thanks for sharing it.

Chocolate Babka

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
This tasted pretty good, especially warm with butter. I thought the consistency was similar to the chocolate chip bagels we get at our grocery store--which wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. But the flavor was good!

Turkey Tomato Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
We really liked this pizza--from 75 years old to 13 years old! The only things I did differently were to use about 1/3 pizza sauce to 2/3 mayonnaise as a mixture for the sauce; and I also used Provolone cheese. As my husband says, "It's a keeper!!" Thanks for sharing!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
WOW! My family gave this 10/10! The sauce is outstanding--it would taste good even on cardboard. I used lowfat cottage cheese in place of the ricotta, and 1 cup of Italian-blend shredded cheese in the sauce, instead of 2 cups of mozzarella. It was scrumptious. Thanks for the recipe!

Rapid Mix Sweet Dough

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
My family flipped over this recipe! I used half to make a yummy loaf of white bread, and used the other half to make small cinnamon rolls by rolling out, smearing with margarine or butter, and sprinkling generously with cinnamon and sugar. The flavor of both was excellent!! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Italian Green Bean Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2007
This was easily a "10" out of 10 in my house!! Everyone loved it. I followed the recommendation to use diced tomatoes with spices added, and added a chopped onion to the garlic. I also marinated the chicken pieces in balsamic vinegar for about 30 minutes. Thanks for the great, easy addition to our menus!

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
I have made this twice now, once with added brown sugar and once without. Both times, it was a huge hit with our family and our guests! I made half the recipe for 4 or 5 chicken breasts, and it was plenty. Thanks, TaraNicole!

Teriyaki Marinade III

Reviewed: May 6, 2007
This was a huge hit at a family (large) dinner! I used chicken breasts, marinaated them in the teriyaki for about 3 hours, and basted them with it while grilling. Everyone flipped over them! Thanks for the recipe!
