No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
I have made this as written, tasted great but last night I played around and it was superb! I used a can of Campbells Chicken/Mushroom condensed soup ( a new product I just discovered, both in one can) and then a can of Cream of Broccoli. Also added an italian dressing seasoning package as my only spices. One hour before serving, I added a bag of mixed frozen vegetables. Fantastic! Made homemade biscuits and served the biscuits openfaced with a little cornbread stuffing and then this recipe over it, DIVINE!

Garlic Chicken

Was a nice meal but nothing particularly fancy. Very easy to make though and a great go-to recipe when you don't have much time or ingredients.

Mexican-Style Goulash

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
Great variation to use up ground beef! I doubled the recipe and instead of using canned tomatoes, I used 2 cans of Rotel with green chilis (mild version). I did not use any of the spices mentioned, I used a whole taco seasoning mix and the flavors were perfect! Also, used a can of corn because that's what I had in the pantry and it worked great. I did add the cheese at the end but I think it would still be great without it. Thanks for submitting a quick, easy and inexpensive recipe!

Feta and Bacon Stuffed Chicken with Onion Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This was an incredible dish! The house smelled like a restaurant, looked like one too with this on the plate. I used feta that already came with garlic and herbs and I only used half of an onion in the masked potatoes. It may take a little time to prepare but so worth it. This is a great dish for company you want to impress!

Famous Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
WAY TOO SALTY as written. I like the concept of the recipe so I am going to try again with half of the soy sauce called for and also increase the onion.

BAKER'S® ONE BOWL Coconut Macaroons

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
Not only super easy, but super delicious and I don't care for coconut. Made these for my father-in-law for Father's Day as they are his favorite cookie. Used 1/2 almond extract and half vanilla extract for a great flavor.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Very delicious. I don't like coleslaw but everyone else in the family does, so I tried it. It is great! Don't add too much of the wet ingrediants, you will think it will not cover all the slaw, just keep stirring and over time, it does tend to get a little watery but you can drain a little out or add more coleslaw mix. I just left it as it was, stirred a little before serving to refresh it and Voila! A definite keeper!

Mexican Wedding Cakes II

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
Super Super Easy recipe, I just had to cook them a little longer than stated. My guest at my Mexican Fiesta ate them up! I plan on making a double batch next time and just freeze the dough so I can always have it on hand, they were that good! Great cookie for the kids!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
My first time making refried beans, couldn't have been easier and they tasted fantastic! I followed other reviewers advice, used chicken stock instead of water, added taco seasoning, and added a whole jalapeno. I am going to add another jalapeno next time, it was not spicy in the least with one. I added a whole chopped onion in the beginning cooking stages, which gave the beans some nice texture. I used no salt, didn't need it. Loved these, I will never open a can again!

Smothered Bacon Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
Very easy and very delicious! The extra sauce made the chicken so tender. I would definitely increase the amount of chicken breasts as I felt I wasted a lot of sauce. A keeper per my husband.

Fantastic Gorgonzola and White Wine Cheese Ball

The only thing I changed in this recipe was that I used pecans instead of pistachos. The pecans should have definitely have been toasted but that was my error. I will try this one again.

Fabulous Fruit Salad

Reviewed: May 16, 2006
Made this as part of a brunch for Mother's Day and it was perfect! I did not use celery, I used grapes instead as suggested and found the perfect. I used 2 fresh peaches as well and found the taste to be light and yummy. Thanks for a great recipe!
