Clam Bake
This is a GREAT recipe. I've made it twice now. The first time I made it the broth had no flavor, so I changed it a little bit this time(I hate when people do this, but...)by using a bottle of beer with the chicken broth, a bag of mccormick's shrimp boil seasoning, a head of garlic, a few onions, and adding kielbasy and corn to the mix. The broth was PERFECT for dipping with bread. This is the perfect summer one pot meal!

Shepherd's Pie VI
This is a good start for a shepherd's pie! i used less beef broth, a good irish steak sauce (i use goodall's, if you can find it, try it!) and worcestshire sauce. also i used 2 cloves of garlic and a couple of shallots all put in after the beef was browned and drained. i just kind of toss those things in til it tastes right. the sour cream and butter in the potatoes is perfect!!

Grandma Johnson's Scones
these are great. i make them ALL THE TIME. not your typical dry scone. the only thing i change is that i add golden raisins and about a 1/4 cup of vanilla flavoring (i'm all about sweet). i've also made these with maple syrup and cinnamon....which is twice as delicious!
