Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
I added a can of each, sliced carrots, diced tomatos, corn, green beans, and peas. I only had 1 can of kidney beans so I used a can of chilli flavored beans also. I put some chilli powder in it too. My soup was between a vegetable beef soup and chilli. Everyone in my house loved it (9 people) and my mom, dad, and a couple of friends of mine loved this soup. I will be making this soup again very soon! Next time I make this I will make a double batch so we can have leftovers. This recipe is a good starter soup to expierment with. Thank you for the recipe.

Ranch Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2006
Like other people have said this tasted more like meatloaf on a bun. Which I like it any way, but mine fell apart for some reason. I also added an extra pack of dry ranch seasoning. I will make again but I will leave out the egg and the crackers. My kids loved them!

I really liked these cookies. The next time I make these I will use creamy peanut butter instead. Very fast and easy to make. I will be making these often! Thanks for the recipe! Easier to make and cheaper than buying them already made.

Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
This is a very good idea! I did what other people did I put them on at 350 degrees. Worked well for me. I have 7 kids to cook for, so this was fast and easy. I didn't have to stand at the oven forever. That's nice considering I am pregnant. I will try this with french toast.

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 8, 2006
I made this recipe today. It was fast and easy to make. I added onion powder and garlic powder to the hamburger while cooking. Then I added more of each after I made it. I added all ingredients together than I added mixture to the noodles . I also used 12 ounces of noodles. It was still creamy and good. I had to add a lot of pepper. It is a liitle bland but I will make again. I will try adding different spices next time. There is way more than 6 servings!

Instant Pistachio Salad

Reviewed: May 5, 2006
This recipe is delicious! This is the same recipe my mom has made for years. It's a good way to get your kids to eat fruit (mine won't eat plain fruit). I make this for almost every holiday.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
I didn't care for this at all. It was too sweet, and I thought it had too much onion in it. My husband was the only one who liked it out of 6 people. I even tried spicing it up, but nothing helped. I won't be making this again.

Mapled Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
I really liked this recipe. I only used 1 cup of water instead of 2 and I used a small roasting pan. I used half of the drippings to use for the glaze. It takes some time for the drippings to get thick so don't get discouraged it will thicken up.

Dilly Potato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2006
I made this recipe today and it was so creamy and good!. I used 1 cup of miracle whip instead of yogurt and 3 tbs. of sour scream instead of mayonnaise. I made 12 servings. I used 1 lb. extra of potatoes, 1/2 cup miracle whip, 1 1/2 tbs. of sour cream and 1 1/2 tsp. of regular mustard. I also added extra green onions. This is the best potato salad I have ever had! Thanks for the recipe! I would use half the dll weed the next time I make this.
