I think I will stick to the traditional butter or olive oil method next time.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
This was awesome! So delicious. I was somewhat weary of the cottage cheese since I'm not a big fan of it, but it was awesome. I'm making it again tonight. Thanks!

BUSH'S® Baked Rigatoni and Sausage with Beans and Roasted Squash

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
This was really great. I make a lot of pasta dishes because they are quick, easy, and tasty. Sometimes it is mundane making the same thing over and over again so this really spiced it up. It is a unique combo but worked really well. I didn't include the cream b/c I didn't have any, but it was still really good.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This is the best quiche ever! It is so easy and so tasty. I modified the recipe by adding a bit more broccoli, 3/4 a cup of half and half instead of milk, and 3 eggs instead of 4. Also added some veg bacon and cheddar on top. So good!!

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie III

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
This was delicious! A perfect mix of sweet and tart. I added some apples to the mix b/c I did not have enough rhubarb. I had enough fruit to fill 2 pies! I used the crumb topping recipe on this site. I did reduce the sugar by a 1/4 C. Yum!

Coconut Tofu Keema

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
This was awesome! So easy, filling, and great tasting. Instead of the tomato sauce I used one big can of crushed tomatoes, 1 can of coconut milk, and substituted the spices for 1.5tbs of gram masala to make it easier. Again, a wonderful dish the family loved it. Will be making again.

Vegetarian Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
These were easy to make and tasty. They did not taste like real meatballs and I read in other reviews but they were good none the less. When I baked them I put the sauce over half and left the other half plain to use with spaghetti. The sweet and sour sauce was surprisingly delicious, and I cut down the ketchup just because how many reviewers said it would just taste like ketchup other wise. I might make these again but probably not any time soon.

Baked Vegetables I

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
These were so yummy and a big hit! I used onion soup mix and did not think it was too sweet as others had commented. To cook the veggies I followed the review by Creed. I used more potatoes so mine took a little longer to cook, but they were definitely awesome! Thanks

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Soooo perfect! These are the best! I did use all butter in place of Crisco and they still came out very yummy. I used the suggestion of others to up the cin/sugar mix and shake the balls in a baggie. I baked the for 8 min exactly and they were done! I would like to hear suggestions on how to get that cracked look on the cookies. Mine came out sort of one dimensional. Thanks!

Tasty Lentil Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
These were too good! I am a vegetarian and I like tacos but they were getting boring using the Boca meat. These tacos were excellent, healthy, and I will only be using this method of making tacos in the future! A nice alternative to soy.

Rae's Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
This was very tasty and not very difficult. The beer in the recipe is what makes it different than other veg chili, for me. I thought the beer flavor was pretty strong, but my boyfriend said he couldn't taste it at all. So maybe it was just a mental thing for me. Either way it was very good.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
This was very tasty and easy! The recipe made way to much filling for 1 pie so I refrigerated it and made a second one later in the week. In order to make it look 'pretty' I used 3 tortillas per layer to give it distinction. I made the pie in a cake pan. The tortillas were slightly larger than the pan so I was able to put them in the pan and turn the excess up against the pan. I repeated this for each layer. This created a "crust". Very nice looking and it kept its form nicely. I have had requests to make this again!

Sweet Vidalia Onion Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
Very yummy, easy, and creative recipe. Even those who are not crazy about onions enjoyed it. This is delicious but it is obvious why- it is SOOO buttery. I had to double the crust to have enough. Definitely a special treat!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
Great recipe. It turned out really well which is saying a lot for me. I have trouble getting Au Gratin potatoes to not dry out in the oven. I left the onions out based on another review and I have to say that was a mistake. I gave the recipe 5 stars because I think if I had added the onions it would have been perfect. With out them its only a 4.

Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
This was tasty but not worth the extra effort and time it took to make it. I could have made a lasagna in a third of the time and it would have tasted just as good. So Yum, but not making this one again.

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
When I decided to make these I was not expecting anything special, just a quick and easy meal. After making these I can attest to the fact that they were quick and easy, but oh my goodness the taste exceed my expectations. These were so yummy and flavorful. I made them again a few days later.
