Herb Pull Apart Rolls

To clarify, the first "add sugar" is just a pinch to get the yeast started. The next is the remaining sugar. The first "add flour" is 2 cups, the next is the remaining 1.5 cups in 1/2 cup portions at a time. This is explained in the video, but realized its not clear from the instructions I provided. They were AWESOME :-) enjoy.

Special Creamed Corn

Made this for a trial-run Thanksgiving with a friend who wanted to try smoking turkeys before the big day. I could have just sat & ate corn, everything was great but there's some comfort food magic here.

Cinnamon Sugar Cookies

Really excellent, simple, rich cookies. These were spur of the moment, so I did not have time to refrigerate them. I rolled them into balls that I then rolled through the cinnamon-sugar to coat, then baked immediately. They were awesome. Not sure where the "serves 60" thing comes from though, since I made pretty normal sized cookies and it made about 2 dozen.

Raspberry Banana Bread

Added half a stick of butter- only because I'm Southern and its against my religion not to. Split batter into 2 bowls- added 1/2 cup frozen blueberries to one, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries to the other. Made 2 miniloafs of each (4 total). Baked at 350 convection 30 minutes. 3 are cooling now, 1 I'm sad to say is nearly gone. SO GOOD.

Best Buttercream Frosting

This frosting was easy and awesome! I used it on a two layer 9 inch cake and it was plenty of frosting. I dyed it purple and put it on a french vanilla cake with blackberry filling in between the layers.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

when i poured all that liquid on top, i said "ummmmm...." and put it in the fridge for an hour or two- i really didnt think it would all absorb but it did and it was perfect- not to dry, not too wet. other tres leches recipes ive made could never get the consistency right. you can flavor the whipped cream however you like, i used imitation rum flavoring. SO GOOD. glad i lost my old staple tres leches recipe cause this one is better!!
