Fast, cheap, and FANTASTIC. I used bud select in this recipe and it was very good!

Italian Cream Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
I made this cake for my boyfriend's birthday. It was kinda labor intensive, but good. I tweaked the icing a little bit: made more so that I could frost the whole cake, but made it not quite so sweet. Bonus- it makes three layers, so if you mess one up like I did, you can just throw one away and no one has to know! Hahaha.

Best Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2008
This frosting was easy and awesome! I used it on a two layer 9 inch cake and it was plenty of frosting. I dyed it purple and put it on a french vanilla cake with blackberry filling in between the layers.

Impossible Coconut Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
This pie is about the easiest thing you'll ever make. Great for potluck when you are out of time. Don't expect a crispy crust, its a soft "crust" that i personally like, just so you know what you are getting. Comes out of the pan easy- a plus

Creamy Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
This made my husband so happy it ought to be illegal. Is it the best cheesecake? No. But its VERY good, and VERY easy to make on a weeknight. I also used low fat cream cheese, reduced fat crust, and reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup. Still excellent, even with some of the calories missing :-)

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
when i poured all that liquid on top, i said "ummmmm...." and put it in the fridge for an hour or two- i really didnt think it would all absorb but it did and it was perfect- not to dry, not too wet. other tres leches recipes ive made could never get the consistency right. you can flavor the whipped cream however you like, i used imitation rum flavoring. SO GOOD. glad i lost my old staple tres leches recipe cause this one is better!!
