I really like this recipe as a base recipe for beef stir frys. The marinade tenderizes the beef and gives it a great flavor. I use rice vinegar instead of white wine vinegar, double the ginger and add a couple cloves of smashed garlic and let the beef marinate for a couple hours before cooking. I usually toss in a lot more vegetables, like broccoli, onions, snow peas and water chestnuts. If you like more sauce on your stir fry, try this: combine in a small bowl 1/4 C soy sauce, 1/4 C chicken or beef stock, 1-2 T brown sugar, 2 T rice vinegar, a little ginger and garlic, and 1 T cornstarch. Add to your pan after you've cooked your beef and vegetables and cook for a couple minutes until the sauce thickens. Thanks for this recipe; I really enjoy it!
