Sloppy Joes II
This recipe was way too sweet--I should have tasted it before adding the brown sugar! I would consider making it again, but I would omit the brown sugar and green bell pepper, because I don't think the pepper added anything to it. A little Worcestershire sauce and a splash of red wine helped tone down the sweetness and gave it a deeper flavor.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies
I love these cookies! I took other reviewers' advice and added a little salt, vanilla extract and almond extract to give the dough more flavor. They are SO easy to make and taste great with many flavors of jam--my favorites are raspberry and blackberry. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken Marrakesh
This recipe was delicious! I made it as directed, except I put my chicken breasts into the slow cooker frozen (I think that helped keep them from drying out), and shredded them in the last half hour of cooking. Next time I'll double the spices, because it wasn't quite as flavorful as I was hoping for, omit the carrots, because it already has enough sweetness going on in the recipe, and add some fresh cilantro and a handful of raisins for extra flavor and texture.
