I'm fourteen a nd learned how to cook when I was very young, around five years old. My dad was the one who inspired me to continue cooking because it's really nice to see the smile on peoples' faces when they like what I have made. My specialty is chocolate and vanilla cheesecake, cinnamon buns, and my own recipe of chicken noodle soup.
My favorite things to cook
My absolute favorite thing to cook is cinnamon buns. They involve so much thought and it keeps me busy when I'm not in school.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family cooking tradition is between my dad and I. Every year for Thanksgiving we cook BBQ ribs (a family secret recipe, only my dad and I know it) or boston butt along with green beans. We steal the show every year!
My cooking triumphs
My greatest cooking triumph was baking a chocolate and vanilla cheesecake all by myself in fifth grade for the first time and bringing it in for a party. Every one loved so much, they went back for seconds!
My cooking tragedies
Ohh, that was horrible. I made a chocolate birthday cake explode in the oven. Thank goodness I had to leave before cleaning it up, because it was a mess! (there's still burnt cake pieces in select areas...)
