Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2003
this is a great recipe, I have never had a pineapple cake turn out! I did make some changes: I put this cake in a 9X13 instead of 2 pans. I was worried about it not coming out right because that is my luck! lol I also didn't have crushed pineapple I just used the slices and made a one layer instead of two. Loved the coconut and flavor with this cake. It came out perfect!

Chicken Divan

great recipe, I added more milk to make it creamier, we like a lot of sauce here in our house! I liked using cream of celery better...

Pat's Award Winning Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2003
I really liked this recipe. It was moist and light. I was afraid to add that much oil so I cut it back to 1C. I also put it in a 9X13 because I didn't want to wait that long for a 10" tube pan to bake. It came out quite tall, I could have used my jelly roll pan and made a thin cake too. If you want it a little fruitier you could add pineapple. But I was making this for my old man for Fathers Day. I also liked the coconut, I have never seen that in a carrot cake. I would make this if I didn't feel like getting the processor out because I have to admit the baby food costed me $1.30 alone lol! A+ all the way.

This is the most awesome recipe I have come across. No more heavy loafs! I will make this one from now on, I will add a little more sugar because my husband likes it that way.

Peanut Butter Fingers III

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2001
I don't think this tasted so much like a butterfinger as it did a really good pnb bar, it really didn't even need the chocolate on top because it was so good on it's own! YUMMY!

Better than Sex Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2001
Like anyone else I read the rating on these cookies before I made them...with only one bad thing said about them I was sure they would turn out perfect! But I was wrong...I tried to go the 9 min but they were still super raw, so I added another 2 min and took them out, they had crunchy outsides and raw insides still. Overall they were really yummy, I don't know how anyone could call them Better than Sex, there is no way a cookie can compare to good lovin', haha. I will try these cookies again and again but I will have to experiment, maybe I will take my Nieman Marcus cookie and just add white chips and macadamia nuts...hmmmmmm, anyone that has suggestion please put them down for us...maybe the author of the recipe? Please! Thanks!

I followed this recipe to a "T" and the cookies spread out so only a little bit of the middle had candy in them. Regardless everyone ate them up, I will have to experiment next time...YUM WORTH THE TRY!
