Peanut Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
This smells divine when you're making it! One thing, next time I will put it into a large cookie sheet (11x15) to make thinner bars. This was tall like cake.

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
these came out pretty good what I did was take about 1/3C of batter out and mixed that with lots of cinnamon and vanilla, & placed spots of this through out the muffin. With chocolate chips. YUM!

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2005
This turned out good. My kids liked it. It could have used even more pnb then I used. I made changes 1 3/4C flour & 1 extra banana. Also added vanilla flavoring. Added 3/4C pnb (coulda used more.) Some pnb and choc chips.

Pol's Apple Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2005
when I look for recipes I usually go for the ones that have the highest ratings. I wanted to give this a try and was glad I did. I tasted it before the sauce & it tasted great. Even better with the sauce.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2005
I really like this recipe. What I did though was take some of the topping and put tiny bits of it through out (as well as on top) the muffin with the blueberries. Very yummy! Oh one last thing I wouldn't fill the muffin cup quite to the top.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2005
I've tried many crisp recipes and never liked them. But I tried this one and it is good! Only difference is 1C butter & added cinnamon to the crust (plus to the apples) because we're cinnamon freaks! Very good!

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2005
I really liked this recipe. Although I did some tinkering. Instead of adding cream soap I added a pkg of gravy. I also substitued the sour cream for 1/2 & 1/2 cream cheese/sour cream. I used only 3# of potatoes. And 2X the ham called for. Instead of cheddar I added velveeta sauce. Also some chives made it very nice. Oh and I didn't add any of the butter called for. And since I didn't have parm bread crumbs I added some parm to the mixture and just put italian bread crumbs on top! YUMMY This is stayin in my recipe box!

these are spectacular...but just so everyone knows eating bananas while camping will increase the amount of mosquito bites!

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2005
these have good flavor, they coulda been just a wee bit moister. I used splenda and it seems like everytime I use it my stuff comes out a little dryer. I added extra cinnamon and nutmeg.

Microwave Pralines

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2004
well I was afraid to try this recipe. I tried making pralines the 'old fashioned way' once and they bombed on me. This turned out great! The firmed up and no graininess! I did have to stir about 2X the amount mentioned (5-6mins) A+

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
I must have done something wrong...I didn't think this recipe was all that is was cracked up to be. You can put a cinnamon topping on any muffin, I prefer the Banana Bread II recipe.

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2004
Okay well all the other reviews on the bread scared me, so I let the bread set out for a little to get crustier. (BTW next time I would use only 1/2 the bread stated in the recipe) I then put on the crm chz/mayo/seasoning stuff but I added a whole lot more mozzarela cheese so the sauce couldn't make it through and make it super soggy. Otherwise I think this tasted really good. You couldn't tell it was crm chz/mayo...everyone thought it was garlic bread. lol

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2004
I must have done something wrong...I probably rolled it too thick and didn't bake long enough. I don't know if that would make a difference in the dryness of this crust. I like a crust to melt in my mouth, instead of feel like a frozen pie crust. I will be trying it again to see what gives.
