Mocha au Lait Mix

I thought this tasted great but even though I cut up my chocolate chips they never really did disolve all the way. Maybe I did something wrong. And it could use just a dab more sweetener.

I did scale this down to 1 serving (which might have something to do with it) as I'm tired of 'wasting' ingredients on recipes I'm trying out. This was very light and I really couldn't taste any chocolate. So I added about a teaspoon of cocoa powder to my cup. I think I should add another 1/2 teaspoon sugar though now. lol

Cappuccino in a Jar

I like this recipe, a little bit high on the coffee flavor but I'm not a HUGE coffee fan. Although I do enjoy the generic gas station cappuccinos. I just added a tiny bit more hot chocolate mix. YUM

I think the reason these come out runny is because my old recipe says to use 1/2C cocoa powder....and this is less.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

I just made these into muffins. I did make some changes. Instead of APF I did half & half APF/Whole wheat. 2C sugar. 3/4C oil, 3/4C concentrate instead of regular OJ. Also added 1 tablespoon vanilla. A little more cranberries & 1C pecans.

Taco Soup II

I added 1/2 the chiles because we are wussys and can't take the hot stuff. I also didn't add all those beans just a can of hominy & pintos, no ranch package either. Great recipe. This ones a keeper!

Peanut Crunch Cake

This smells divine when you're making it! One thing, next time I will put it into a large cookie sheet (11x15) to make thinner bars. This was tall like cake.

Banana Muffins II

these came out pretty good what I did was take about 1/3C of batter out and mixed that with lots of cinnamon and vanilla, & placed spots of this through out the muffin. With chocolate chips. YUM!

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

This turned out good. My kids liked it. It could have used even more pnb then I used. I made changes 1 3/4C flour & 1 extra banana. Also added vanilla flavoring. Added 3/4C pnb (coulda used more.) Some pnb and choc chips.

when I look for recipes I usually go for the ones that have the highest ratings. I wanted to give this a try and was glad I did. I tasted it before the sauce & it tasted great. Even better with the sauce.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I really like this recipe. What I did though was take some of the topping and put tiny bits of it through out (as well as on top) the muffin with the blueberries. Very yummy! Oh one last thing I wouldn't fill the muffin cup quite to the top.

Apple Crisp II

I've tried many crisp recipes and never liked them. But I tried this one and it is good! Only difference is 1C butter & added cinnamon to the crust (plus to the apples) because we're cinnamon freaks! Very good!
