German Chocolate Cake Frosting II

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
This is a perfect frosting for a German Chocolate Cake. My husband raved about it. I will always use this recipe. Only change I made was to add some additional coconut.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
This was awesome how it is written but this Thanksgiving I wanted only 1 pie since I had so many others. I made the recipe as it says but I only used half of the Cool Whip. It made for 1 mounded pie and the peanut butter flavor was way more intense. Thank you so much for the recipe.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
These cookies are wonderful. I have been trying to find the perfect chocolate cookie and this is it! We have made them several times. Our favorite is to add mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and pecans or walnuts..I would call it Rocky Road??

Sourdough Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
Ok, this is my second review of this bread the first time I had made alterations due to how long this bread took. So this time I made the recipe exactly how it says in the recipe but I let mine rise on top of our pellet stove. This cut the initial rising time to 4 hours. This is a wonderful recipe and has that sour dough taste as long as you have a strong starter. Thank you for sharing!

Grandmother's Old Fashioned Butter Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
My husband has told me about his Mama's butter roll since we were married ten years ago. His Mom didn't have a recipe so I never tried to make it. He loved this butter roll. The only changes I made to the recipe were I used butter and shortening verses just shortening, I added one teaspoon of baking powder to the dough and I also added cinnamon over the rolled dough. Thank you so much for this recipe.

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2006
Thank you so much for this recipe. I have served it several times now and it has been a hit amoung my family of six. The cooking time and temp are key. I coat ours like yours except I use fresh garlic, worcestershire, and a little brown sugar. The combination is a great taste and the sugar provides excellent caramelisation. We have it as the main dish the first night and the next night french dip sandwiches.

French Bread

This bread was so delicious!! I have tried other recipes and they were good, but they seemed more complicated. This was twice as good and not nearly as complicated. Thanks for the recipe!!
