Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
Super, super good! I used a little under 3 lbs. top sirloin, 2 cans French Onion soup, 8 oz. beef broth, 1 clove garlic, and a couple splashes Worcestershire sauce. This will be made again, and again, and again....

Panzanella Salad

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
I've made this twice in the past week and IT IS PHENOMENAL! For the latest batch, I cut up ciabatta bread yesterday afternoon and let it sit on the counter till lunchtime today. It got good and stale. Definitely go with more garlic. I toasted the bread for 10 minutes. When it was time to eat, I put some fresh, crisp spinach in my salad bowl and topped it with the panzanella & a turn or two of cracked pepper....mmmmmm....Thank you, thank you to Pixie2 for "pushing" this recipe!

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
Our t-bones only marinated for about 45 minutes but, WOW, were they good! I may let them go a little longer next time but I don't think they need overnight.

Taco Bake II

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
This was very good - totally satisfied my craving for Mexican food. Mine turned out like glorified nachos, however. I made about a quarter recipe, using approx. 4 oz of meat, and also used restaurant-style tortilla chips. Guacamole on the side is a must!

Wow - what a different yet delicious take on chicken breasts! The teriyaki/ranch combo is unusual but oh, so very tasty.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
Absolutely delicious beef stroganoff! I used top sirloin roast and marinated it overnight in red wine. If you use a non-stick skillet you can get by with half the butter. After the meat browned, I spooned out most of the excess liquid and had no problem moving the meat aside to cook the onions (hint: chopped white or yellow are less work.) I like extra sauce so I added 1 - 2 c. more broth (made from beef base) than the recipe calls for. Also sauted fresh mushrooms in a little butter and garlic to add at the end...mmmmm!

This is definitely a 5 star recipe WITH the additions of extra sauce and garlic. Also, be sure and season the veggies well. Buon Appetito!

Quick and Easy Mexican Chicken

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
Super easy and very tasty! I only had hot salsa on hand so I blenderized it with canned diced tomatoes. The sauce still had some kick but the kids could also enjoy it. Try this with some spiced up rice and a salad for a dinner that's muy delicioso!

My guys and I give this two thumbs up! I used three split breasts & baked it for a total of one hour, loosely covering the baking dish with foil for the last 15 - 20 minutes. Thanks for sharing your recipe Heather!

Classic Waffles

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
These waffles are excellent. The following were the only deviations I made: 1. Melt a little extra butter to brush on waffle iron. 2. Separate the eggs. 3. Fold in the beaten egg whites last. The waffles are light, fluffy, and taste delicious.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
Had the stew meat and all other ingredients except golden muchroom soup so ended up baking this in a 325 degree oven for 3 - 4 hrs. Added extra water about halfway during the cooking time and again when I added sauteed mushrooms. Yummy!
