Italian Bread Baked on a Pizza Stone

This bread reminded me of the bread at Macaroni Grill. I made 2 small round loaves and 2 calzones. Note: I didn't proof my yeast which had an expiration date of 09/08 and was stored in the fridge since December. I had to leave the dough in the bread machine for an additional 30-45 minutes after the end of the dough cycle as it hadn't risen enough. Once I gave it more time it was fine. Thanks Destiny!

Meatball Sandwich

My family LOVED this! The only thing I'll do differently is add 1/2 t. to 1 t. of salt to the meat mixture. Thanks bigguy728!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Molasses Crinkles

I made these several times during the holidays and didn't change a thing, although I did press about half to two thirds of the recipe into a parchment paper-lined Wilton gingerbread boy pan in a lame attempt to duplicate Gingy from Shrek :-) Needless to say, the kids gobbled him up!

Grilled Salmon I

My 4-year old begs me to make this! I followed the advice of another reviewer and usually bake this in a 450 degree oven for 12 minutes and broil for 5 minutes. I also transfer the marinade to a saucepan to make a yummy gravy by adding 1 T. of corn starch and bringing to a boil. Serve with rice for an absolutely super meal!

Strawberry Cheese Pie

I served this pie for Father's Day and it was a huge hit. I substituted with homemade graham cracker crust, Cool Whip, & seedless strawberry jam. Omitted the chopped almonds, too.

Fruit Dip II

Grandma's Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy

I made this using boneless pork loin chops so definitely recommend reducing the total cooking time to 20 - 25 minutes. Fresh mushrooms are a must!

Hot Cross Buns I

I didn't use my bread machine as I wanted to double the recipe. Definitely should have added the cinnamon & raisins with the other ingredients! I'll make this recipe again but will spice it up a bit by adding orange zest or substituting Sun Maid Tropical Fruit for the raisins. I also like the idea of piping the cross on the buns as my pastry brush did not work well.
