Absolutely the Best Nacho Dip Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
This dip is fantastic, I didn't change anything. The seafood sauce really makes it unique from the regular Nacho Dip you find everywhere.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
I made this for my mothers birthday and the whole family loved it!! Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Icing is my favourite dessert of all time and this is the best cake and icing I have ever made! I like frosting to have flavour not just sugar. This is a perfect blend of butter/chocolate/sugar flavour.

Broccoli Salad V

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
This is a great broccoli Salad. Good variation from the regular one. I used Miracle whip instead of the salad dressing and apple cider vinegar instead of the tarragon, I also added a tbsp of Splenda.

Gazpacho

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
My husband and I both love this soup! I do use V8, instead of tomato juice, but otherwise follow the recipe. I make this very frequently in the summer and guests love it too! I serve it before the meal instead of salad.

Garlicky Baked Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2014
Very good, much better then steamed or boiled. I will either omit the parsley (my husband doesn't like it) and cook it as the recipe states, or substitute it with fresh sage, especially if cooking with chicken/turkey.

Banana Muffins I

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
Love this recipe! With a few changes suggested before, I replaced 1/2 cup white flour with whole wheat flour and added 3 tbsp wheat germ. Decreased baking powder to 2 tsp, increased vanilla to 1 tsp and used plain fat free yogurt instead of sour cream. I think they have great flavour and even my nephew who hates all things healthy loved them.

So very easy, and very good! I don't normally like dumplings. I made this for my husband because he loves them. Well we both loved this! Will definately make again. I did use one can of cream of chicken and one of cream of mushroom. Topped it up with water and spiced chicken with garlic powder and paprika. Perfect!!

Oven Fried Sesame Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
This is fantastic!! I do use olive oil and instead of chili powder, I used cayenne pepper. The sesame seeds are essential, they make the recipe!! I've also used Sweet Potatoes too (Only 2 because they are much bigger) and very good!

Very traditional dessert at home. My husband was very very happy with it, as it is the same as his mother used to make. She loved it too. Made it multiple times and will again.

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I really like this recipe. I took the advice of others and only cooked it the second time for 1 hour, any more would be too much! It is so good now whenever I use another recipe for pork tenderloin my boyfriend is so disappointed that I didn't make this one!

All-Bran Classic Carrot Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I really liked the flavour of these muffins. I did make some changes.... I used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup all purpose flour. My daughter really doesn't like raisins or dates so I increased the carrot to 1 1/2 cups and added 3/4 cup grated zucchini. And as I'm typing this I realize I forgot the zest. The batter was very runny and the muffins didn't rize that well....but they tasted great!!! It made 12 small "reg" sized muffins and 24 mini muffins.

Chicken Meatball Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
I made this almost as written. Instead of the 4 cups water, I added 8 cups chicken broth. I like my soup a little thinner. Plus I separately cooked alphabet pasta and added as much as each of us wanted per bowl. Made a sick little girl happy!
