Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Delicious! Omitted the parsley because I didn't have any and used frozen shrimp. Other than that, left the recipe as-is. Makes a lot and I can't wait for the leftovers tomorrow!

Delicious. Served it over angel hair pasta and subbed marinated artichoke hearts for the capers. I did saute the mushrooms with the garlic, though.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Super yummy! We accidentally made way more topping that the recipe called for--maybe that's because we added some shredded parmesan. We didn't use an italian herbs--but that didn't hurt the recipe at all! Served it with a squeeze of fresh lemon--will definitely make this again!

Irish Soda Bread

I've never been a big fan of Irish Soda Bread, but this recipe changed my mind! It was so moist, with an excellent texture. I omitted the caraway and used a combo of raisins, dried cranberries, and dried apricots totaling 3 cups.

Baked Ham with Sweet Glaze

So delicious! We have some kiddos with pineapple allergies, so I left off the pineapple and cherries but kept the other ingredients the same. My oven was busy with other things, so I cooked this in a roaster oven. I was a little worried that it wouldn't form a nice crust in there, but I was wrong! It was so moist, so permeated with flavor, and had an excellent crust. We will definitely be making this again! Thanks, aellis0923!

Red Cabbage

We loved this! My kids went back for thirds! I did reduce the vinegar and used apple cider vinegar because that's what I had. Maybe next time, I'll add a little bacon! We had it with honey-mustard ham tonight and it was de LI cious!

Chocolate Zucchini Cake III

Yummy way to use up extra zucchini! We used 2.5 c zucchini, only 1 c. of oil, 1/3c. of applesauce, and chocolate chips instead of nuts. Dusted with powdered sugar--a big hit!

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Deeeeelicious! Add yet more garlic (cuz we're crazy like that) and mixed the regular bread crumbs with some panko, because that's what I had on hand. I will definitely add panko whenever I make this--which will be often! Great job, JUDY/AZ!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

I'm giving this only 4 stars, because this is a pretty good "base" recipe. I did have to make some changes to snazz it up a bit to suit our tastes: used grape tomatoes; cubed up the cheese; added more prepared ranch dressing; used 4-5 fresh, pressed garlic cloves; added a seeded, minced jalapeno; used garlic salt (because, believe it or not, it still needed salt!--next time I plan on using ditalini because I think it's easier to get a nice coat of dressing, etc on that type of pasta).

Sangria! Sangria!

Was a big hit at a recent grad party. I used *cheap* red wine and tossed in whatever random frozen fruit I had in the freezer (a berry blend, plus strawberries), in addition to the lemons, limes, and oranges. I left out the maraschino cherries and ran out of lemon juice on my second batch, so I just added more OJ. Instead of carbonated water, I used Sierra Mist. Yummy, and made a ton, too!

Artichoke Nibbles

Delicious! I have made this just as the recipe states, but more recently, I didn't have all of the ingredients. So I subbed Ritz crackers for the saltines, added a pinch of red pepper flakes instead of the hot sauce, and sauteed the veggies in a bit of the marinade instead. So good--cold, warm, or hot!

Garlic Aioli

Perfect and so easy! I made just as recipe stated and didn't think it was too much lemon at all. If I had white pepper, I would have used that instead (for presentation), but the black tasted just fine. Served this with sweet potato fries--yum!

This is pretty near perfect! While the potatoes were baking the first time, I threw some garlic in the oven to roast. I added that in with the cheese, etc. Yum!

Cornish Finnish Michigan Pasties

I almost hate to do this, but I did change this recipe quite a bit, but I used this one as a base recipe. Here's what I did to simplify it and make my kids happy: used store-bought crust; omitted rutabaga, pork (didn't have any) and MSG. I was wary of cooking the meat raw in the dough, but I had nothing to worry about. They turned out great. Thanks for the inspiration!

Grandma's Best Ever Sour Cream Lasagna

I found this recipe in a panic because I did all my shopping and came home WITHOUT my ricotta or even some cottage cheese. I used the "Ingredients" feature on AR and came across this delicious recipe. I used my own sauce mix and subbed this sour cream mixture for the ricotta. It was a hit--and even better the second day!
