Chicken Tikka Masala

This turned out EXCELLENT. I doubled the sauce and cut the salt down by 3/4, but otherwise I made it as written. Even my son asked for seconds. Thanks!

Peanut Butter Bars IV

OMG these bars are awesome. I only used two eggs (only had two left!) and bumped up the butter by one tbsp. Otherwise, I made them exactly as described and they were too good to be true. Rich rich rich, but amazingly delicious. Perfect with a cup of coffee after dinner. Thanks!

Orange Pecan Cookies

Yum Yum Yum. I used Grand Marnier instead of the orange juice, but they still came out amazing. Mine didn't spread at all, so you might need to "flatten" them a bit if you don't want a ball-shaped cookie. Whatever the shape, though, these cookies are awesome!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Yum Yum Yum. A friend requested that I make these for her daughter's birthday party because her daughter doesn't like chocolate chip cookies or nuts. I used pink sugar for dusting. They look and taste awesome! I agree that you can't bake them for any more than 8 minutes. You do, and they'll be overdone.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies are flat-out AWESOME, and hey, they're healthy! They have oatmeal! The only modification I did was to add about 2 tsp vanilla. My church group raved about them and I've been elected the official Thursday-Night Treat Bringer! Thank you so much!

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

These turned out great. I used devil's food cake mix and brewed coffee instead of the water and they were great. Next time, though, I'll add a bit of oil so the dough is a bit easier to handle.

Pecan Bars I

The crust was flat tasting and I came out almost gooey. Too much shortning! I used brown sugar (IMHO, bourbon and brown sugar are a taste combo made in Heaven!) and sweetened coconut, but they weren't quite sweet enough to make up for the flat tasting crust. The bourbon added a great little accent to the overall flavor though. I'm giving it two stars only because I can see the potential if I were to add powdered sugar to the crust and use butter instead of shortning (omitting the salt if using salted butter). I'll probably make it again but I'll tweak the recipe.
