Light Wheat Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
I improvised these rolls a little by making them a little bigger to use as hamburger rolls. Holy moly! Were these rolls fantastic! Will be my go to wheat rolls from now on. The only thing I changed was the one egg (I was all out!). I used instead 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce. In the future, I'll probably cut the white sugar in half as it made the rolls a little sweeter than I was looking for. Otherwise! GREAT ROLL RECIPE!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Excellent dish. I supplemented curry powder with 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tbs cayenne (for a little heat), and 1 tsp mustard powder. I recommend for the first time curry eater!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Extremely yummy. I made two changes I made was to canola oil (I don't keep lard in my kitchen) and used top round for the steak. Came out fabulous. Paired this with biscuits, roasted root vegetables, and a good Merlot. Yum, Yum. Thanks for the share!

Cornbread Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
While a little too sweet to go with the chili I made, these were still excellent.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
While I was kind of hesitant putting instant pudding mix in cookie dough (I'm anti-anything instant) I am pleased to say these cookies came out wonderful. This recipe will definitely be a repeat/favorite recipe in my house for years to come. Thanks for sharing. ***Produced with only 1/2 cup walnuts due to lack of walnuts in house.

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I used this crust while cooking an apple pie for Thanksgiving while I was studying abroad. It was the first time I made a pie from scratch, and it was a quick success. Only recommendation is to sprinkle the crust lightly with a a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
