We really like these pretzels. Made the few changes in the preparation based on other reviews, and was impressed with the results.

Super glaze. That was my fav part. The blend of ginger, hot sauce, apricot preserves, BBQ sauce, etc.. So good.

My-Hop Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
Out of this world pancakes! I made according to directions and they were eaten up. We served with Smuckers red raspberry syrup and a dallop of cream. Made my kids morning. One batch of these fed perfectly our family of 6-with no leftovers.

Shrimp Scampi ala mamaC

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
This recipe is a great starting point...sautéed about 1 c of mushrooms, some chopped bell pepper and 2 sliced garlic cloves to the butter. I added 2 more cloves minced garlic with the shrimp. I also used red wine, a little less than 1/3 c, and added chicken broth to make 1/3 c. Served over fettuccine, this was fabulous! Kids asked e to make it tomorrow too. It's a keeper for sure.

Easy Swedish Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2013
I grew up with these pancakes. My fav as a kid--now my own kids favorite breakfast. I add 1 to 1 1/2 c. flour (1/2 c is just not enough). Fantastic!

Handsome Party Punch

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
So good! The thing I love about this is how versatile it is. We used 2 cans do welch's strawberry breeze, 7-up, and pineapple/raspberry/orange sherbet. Oh my. One batch was definitely not enough for a party of 8-year old girls.

Kansas City Steak Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
We really enjoyed this soup, but I thought 1 cup of flour was too much. I used only 2/3 and it tasted good, but was really thick. Next time I'll use only about 1/4 cup to start. (And really you can skip and make broth soup instead). I skipped the frozen veggies , but did cut up a small yukon potato to add. Update; Made it a 2nd time. Still the best. Didn't add potato, but did add fresh mushrooms, 1/3 diced red bell pepper, about a cup of baby Bella sliced mushrooms and a cup of frozen corn.. Yum!

Just like my Grandmas! I used cooked, leftover rice, omitted the raisins and added a little cinnamon & nutmeg before I baked it. Yum!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
So good! The extra effort was worth it as it has fantastic flavor. I had 8 oz ricotta cheese, so I used cottage cheese for the remaining 8 oz. Yum! The couple pieces that were left I froze and heated up-this made a lot. We love it.

Bread Pudding II

Fabulous! This was delicious and we all loved it. I used mostly eggnog (about a 2/3 ratio) and 1% milk. I also added a bit of nutmeg before baking.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2012
Our family loved this. It wasn't too spicy for the little ones but it had enough flavor for the rest of us. It was so easy to throw into the crock pot too. Also, it was great on luttuce, for my healthier dinner, and the kids threw it on their favorite buns. Perfect!

Healthier Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
The whole house smells amazing! Not the most time-friendly crockpot recipe since you add veggies during the cooking time, but well worth it. Everything cooked up perfectly. It was a great base to add my personal touches, and used ingredients I already had on hand. I used part sweet potato and part russett potatoes, and got great flavor. Yum.

KC Cake Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
These cake donuts are very tasty. I only made a couple changes based on reviews, I used buttermilk, omitted the oil and used 2T melted butter in batter. When baked, I dipped in melted butter and rolled in brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon. What I loved the best about these is that I ad all the ingredients on hand. The bonus is that the kids ate them up!
