I'm a musician, actually, but I'd be a chef if I wasn't. I like to bake. Breads are my favorite. My mother, sister and I make cookies every year for a church fund raiser. Like 15 dozen cookies. Each. I now have a son of my own, and already at 4 years old, he loves to help me cook. He knows basically how to make pasta and scrambled eggs and he knows how to knead bread dough. Sophomore year in high school, 100 years ago, a friend and I successfully made Finnish Pulla for a school project. She and her mother had never succeeded before I helped them figure it out. I posted that recipe about 8 years ago on this site. Nothing really tragic has happened, but we all have our mishaps!
