About this Cook
I Am a chef in the Royal Australian Air Force and have been for about 5 years. In this Job we cook everything from Boiled Potato to Fillet Mignon to Chocolate Gateux Cakes. Before this i had experience in many of the Fast Food restaraunts including Pizza Hut, Pizza Haven, Dominoes Pizza, Eagleboys Pizza, Panic Pizza, Pinky's Pizza, Pizza Factory, Macdonalds, KFC and Red Rooster. Yes, i like pizza, and have managed in some of these stores. I have also worked in Chinese Restaraunts as both chef and Maitre'D when i was younger.
My favorite things to cook
Personally i like to cook anything and everything, although working in the environment that i do, i do not get enough time to take those extra steps that make a basic meal into a Gourmet extravaganza. But when i get a chance i love to make salads and experiment with different grilled chicken combinations.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Although i am a Chef for a living, there is nothing better than going home at Christmas and knowing that with 2 days before Christmas i have to plan the menu to cater to everyones needs, do the shopping, do the required preparation, and then after a Christmas Eve of celebrating over a "few" (DOZEN! :P) drinks start cooking the meal from scratch at about 6am, approximately an hour after i get home! Come 10am i usually realise that i have forgotten some unimportant ingredient and then begin to unnecessarily stress, thinking i have ruined the meal. By 12pm, Everyone sits at the table and i begin to serve the 1st of 5 courses. By the time i have finished which is around 2:30pm i am exausted and declare that the Chef does not do the cleaning much to the amazement of my family. As painful as it sounds there is nothing better that cooking at Christmas!

Chicken Adobo I
Love this recipe, I make this in the Mess and in much larger quantities (50 people) and the customers love it. Only thing i change is the amount of Soy Sauce and Salt, but that is due to the large amount made. Have also made this for my parents and friends and they love it also!
