Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
I love this dish. The one thing I change is I saute cut up chicken breast in oil with seasonings and then add the other ingredients, without draining the oil. It adds more calories, but well worth it. It is good to splurge once in a while.

Penne Russo a la Vodka

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
This is a great dish, quick, easy and delicious. The one thing I changed is I added 1/2 bow tie pasta with 1/2 3-cheese tortilini and that made it even better.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
Add the water as shown...substitute the milk for sour cream (1/2 cup) and add some of those French's Fried Onions...helps a lot.

Creamy White Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
If you reduce the wine a little you can add some jarred artichoke hearts. Just cut them up a little and add to chicken. I also use chicken thighs, season them and saute them in butter and olive oil and reserve the flavor for the sauce.

Steff's Shepherd Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I season the meat and saute the onion. I use peas and/or peas and carrots only after meat is cooked. Half the soup is all you need and I add cheese to the top of the meat layer before the potatoes and put sour cream and cheese into the potatoes with a pat of butter to give more flavor. After its done, I sometimes broil the top of the potatoes so they look more inviting. I also cook up a package of brown gravy to put over the top if people l ike it.

Chicken Enchilada Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2013
It is so much easier if you use jarred pre-crushed garlic with parsley,2 pre-cooked Tyson diced chicken in a bag which I cut up more finely and used hot enchilada sauce, so all you have to do is add cumin and salt/pepper to taste. Also, I used 2 cans of Campbells cheddar cheese soup instead of velveeta. I also turned off the heat at the end and put a cup or so of finely shredded colby jack and let it melt smoothly into the soup, which thickened it up better.
