Chilled Cantaloupe Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
I saw this same recipe on a different website and the recipe was almost the same , the only difference is the other one had 1 cup of honey as well. I would think that would take care of the taste and consisitancy that everyone is complaining about. Honey gets really think when chilled.

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND®

easy to make. Taste really good. Just make sure they are totally cold before removing from the pan or you could have a mess on your hands.

Betsy's Mandarin Orange Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
I made this recipe following the directions carefully. The salad tasted good, but it was all limp and soggy. No one wanted to try it as it looked so bad! I ate some of it and what i did eat tasted good, although a bit mushy. Would look for a different recipe nex time. and I would use a different type of lettuce as well.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
I did not enjoy this at all. initially it tasted ok. But I grew sick of it quickly. Too much peanut butter. I like peanut sauce, but this was more like eating peanut butter covered noodles. I followed the recipe to the T. I will not cook this again. Thanks, but no thanks.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
needed to bake longer then 10 min as cookies were still really soft. I baked for 12min and then they had to set up on the backing pan for another 10 min or so as they would fall apart if you tried to move them before sitting for a bit. I used the same part qhite and part brown sugar as others suggested. Abit on the sweet side. Maybe use less sugar next time. I also added 1/2 c of flour to make the dough more firm. Good recipe for baking with the little people in the family :-) Will make again.

Sticky Buns II

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
Dough was on the sticky/wet side so I just kept adding flour until it looked like dough you could roll out on the counter. Buns turned out ok. The bun fell apart really easily and the topping was dry and crumbly, not sticky in the least. I would use more butter next time in the filling to help the brown sugar melt better. Tasted good. But still a little disapointed with the end results. I will be looking for another recipe . maybe adding an egg to the bread would help things.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
These cookies where hard as rocks the next morning. Nothing chewy about them and I cooked them for 12 min just like the recipe said. I doubled the peanut butter and still pretty bland tasting. I will continue my search for a really good peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. These just weren't it.

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
Tasted really good. I had to take them out of the oven at 20min as the top was starting to turn really , really brown! The outside was dry and the centre was really gooey. But they tasted really good. THe bottom was a little dry, not too sure what I did wrong. Tasted kind of flour like. I added lemon zest and lemon juice to both the crust and the filling part. I also used a little yellow food coluring for fun. Husband was a little shocked how "lemony" they were. But I liked them that way and were not tart at all. Will try this recipe again.

Baked Potato Salad I

This turned out very good. I cheated by precooking the potatos in the microwave. I used half mayo and half sour cream. My husband loved it. 4 stars.

Chococonut Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2006
just finished this making these cookies and they are wonderful! Light and crispy. Will keep for future cooking days with my 2 year old daughter. She loves them too. I cut the recipe in half and added 1 tablespoon of vanilla instead of 1 tsp. Also add a few extra chocolate chips. Which my daughter is now wearing all over her face..LOL Sinfully delicious! Cooked for 11 min at 350C instead of the 8-10 min.
