Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2014
I have never made Taco soup before but I sure picked the right recipe to use! Thanks Janeen! I did use fresh corn though, as I had some that needed to be used but I stuck to the rest of the recipe as stated. Loved the blacks beans, (have never used them before in all my years of cooking). It will become one of my go to soups for sure, especially with cold weather coming quickly. Happy cooking!

Mason Jar Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2014
This is very good and I would make it again. The reference to "Mason Jar Peach Cobbler" is to the Mason jar in which the peaches were canned. It is written right at the bottom of the page if you read the whole thing. Good luck and try it!

Baked Denver Omelet

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
First of all, I am sick and tired of people giving low ratings on a perfectly good recipe, just because they changed the ingredients and didn't follow the recipe as written! That says something for YOUR cooking, not the person who submitted the recipe. Change if you must but enter your changed recipe and then let people judge your entry. I found this recipe to be very good and reminded me of what my Mom used to make when I was a kid. I have made it EXACTLY as written and would not change a thing! Very easy and everyone loved it.

Sun-Brewed Mint Tea

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2013
This is an old Amish recipe for iced tea. They call it Meadow tea. I rustic camp near several Amish families in Ontario, Canada. The mint they are referring to in the recipe is what they use as a tea base. A little common sense used and you might know that. After all, tea leaves are from plants! Anyway, this is a very easy, refreshing tea and great on a hot summer's day. Enjoy!
