Basic Flaky Pie Crust

TERRIBLE! I'd give it less stars but I can't. Have no idea of the taste of this because you can't get past rolling it out. I was in search of a flakier crust. I guess I will go back to my Joy of Baking - Pie Crust recipe. Tried the tricks mentioned by others and no luck! Never mind rolling out a top crust for the pie. I just wasted time and money with this recipe. This is the first time has let me down.

Cajun Seafood Pasta

This recipe has good potential! Very good base but way too much pepper. Even at half it wipes out the delicate taste of the scallops. Use very little pepper or use chili peppers instead. A lighter version can substitute the 2 cups of cream for 1 1/2 cups cream with 1/2 milk, or 1 1/2 cream and 1/2 cup white wine. My experience says do not every use the full amount of pepper!
