Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
I was looking for something quick and easy and I think I found a "keeper" with this recipe. Very tasty and made with ingrediants most everyone will have on hand. I marinated a piece of sirloin steak for about 8 hrs. then grilled it for 3-4 minutes per side. Excellent flavor and tender.

Stuffed Peppers for Two

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2012
Made this following the exact directions and found it to be very bland - tastes like meatloaf baked in peppers. If I were to make it again I would cook the hamburg first, with additional spices to give it a bit of a kick, and omit the egg. Even my husband, who doesn't care for alot of spice, found it to be too bland for his taste. For those who found the rice too hard - use instant rice.

St. Patrick's Chocolate & Mint Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
Just ok - too many packaged ingrediants. Next time I'll make it without using a cake mix and the canned frosting.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
If this was any easier you couldn't call it "cooking". Super simple and very tasty. Add a salad and you've got a great quick meal.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
This was very good. Looking forward to making it again, next time I'll try making the sauce first and will saute the asparagus in the sauce to absorb more of the flavor. Either way, it's a great, easy recipe.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Novice or expert you can't go wrong with these rolls. They are VERY forgiving if you are afraid your 12" circle isn't "perfect" or your triangles are not all exactly the same size. They are delicious and look beautiful! Nothing but compliments all the way around.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
Found this to be a very easy recipe for a great tasting chicken pie. I did, however, take the advice of many and make more of the broth. I'm certain it would have been very dry without the extra. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will add a little cubed potato.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
Loved this soup. I made a huge pot of this 2 weeks ago and put single servings in zip lock bags and froze it. Followed the recipe except I doubled the veggies. I made this last fall too and totally enjoyed nice, homemade soup on those chilly winter days.

Tomato Squash Dish

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
Very, very tasty dish and incredibley easy to put together. I chose to cube the zucchini, slice the carrots instead of grating and omitted the garlic. I also added a little shredded cheese just before serving. Excellent - no leftovers!

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
This cheese ball was a huge hit and was devoured in no time at all. It was super simple to make and made a nice presentation. Be careful to use ranch dressing mix and NOT the dip mix or you will find it to be very salty. Next time I plan to make it with pepper jack cheese and maybe a little horseradish to add a little more zip.

Zebra Cake

I've been making this for years and it is always a hit! Very, very easy to make and always delicious! Make sure you make ahead and freeze and cut on an angle like the directions say. Taste great and looks like you spent a whole lot more time than you did. :)

Banana Cream Pie V

Reviewed: May 24, 2006
This pie is wonderful. I loved the idea of NOT using a package of instant pudding. The trick to not having it turn out soupy is cooking it until it reaches the desired thickness. I used two bananas and added an extra dash of vanilla. Superb - everyone loved it.
