Blueberry Cream Muffins

They turned out great. Consistency, look, etc. I baked them at 350 instead of 400 and they were perfect. However, I would probably alter the recipe a little if I made them again because I would have liked it better if they were more sweet.

Miniature Chocolate Eclairs

Well, they taste like Eclairs! I used vanilla pudding (instant) and it helped it from tasting too chocolatey...the chocolate topping was great and the pastry was okay. The dough was difficult to work with and I thought I did something wrong, but when I cooked them they turned out fine. I would probably try this recipe again. It was pretty easy.

Peanut Butter Cookies IV

Quick and easy recipe! I added chocolate chips (per my hubby's request) and they turned out very good. I kinda wish they had more of a peanut buttery flavor though. I cooked at 350 for about 8 or so minutes.

Totally good and totally easy to make. I used homemade french bread that was starting to get old. Didn't want to waste it so I made croutons! Very tasty!

Homesteader Cornbread

Looks terrible, but tastes pretty good. I must have done something wrong with the recipe because the mixture was VERY liquidy, and it took forever to cook. I also turned the temp down because it was cooking really fast on the outside and hardly at all on the inside. I added about 1 cup of sugar and switched the cornmeal and flour amounts as per other reviewers. I'm really not sure why it was so liquidy. Maybe less milk next time.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Very good! I wouldn't say the best, but it was certainly easy to make and tasty. I added a little sugar to sweeten it up a bit (because I like my marinara sweet) and I cut the oil in half. Oh and I forgot the wine altogether! I added 2 cloves of garlic, like other reviewers, and just a tad more onion as well. Would probably make this recipe again, as it's easy and I have most of the ingredients on hand at any given time!

Chicken Pot Pie III

I was nervous about making this recipe...I kinda combined two recipes in one. Like other reviewers I added potatoes and cream of mushroom soup (that's what I had on had). I didn't use the potato soup or the other one it calls for. I added some onions to it as well. To give it just a tad more liquid I added some milk and chicken broth. It came out great! Oh and I only added a tiny amount of thyme, because I think it can get overpowering really fast!

Alfredo Sauce

Not to my liking...although my husband ate it. And it was probably my fault...I didn't use nutmeg cuz I was out. And I used whole milk instead of cream...and I think the milk curdled a little...and my cheese wasn't melting quickly. It was weird. It was shredded and when I put it in, it would just clump up and not melt. I stirred constantly (or so I thought) but it was totally lumpy. I wish I had some cheesecloth to try to strain it, maybe that would have helped. I was just so put on by the little bits in it. Plus it was really salty. Oh, and I should probably mention I'm not a big fan of cheese in general. But I've tried a low fat recipe of alfredo and it was great and I thought I'd indulge myself a little and make the "real" stuff...but alas I will stick with my low fat alternative.

Fluffy Pancakes

Very good! I added a touch of vanilla before cooking and they turned out really yummy! Definitely a keeper...oh except the number it makes/feeds is off. I made the recipe as listed and it fed my husband and I only...but not a big deal. It worked out perfect for us!

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Good flavor. I used half ground beef and half sausage. I didn't add as much sour cream and left out the mushrooms altogether. Will make this again for sure! Very easy!

Blonde Brownies I

I love cookies...and I've never made Blonde Brownies before...and I've only eaten a blonde brownie once in my life. I was slightly disappointed with this recipe. I followed it exactly, and thought the taste and texture were lacking. The texture wasn't like a cookie (of course) so I was a little put off by that...and the taste didn't...pop? I don't know how to describe it. It felt like it was missing something. Unfortunately I'm no helping in offering what that "something" is. If I make these again, I'll probably try a different recipe. They're good, not great. And not what I was expecting or craving! =)

German Pancakes II

It's pretty good. We've used this recipe a few times, and we'll continue to use it. However, we do add 2 tbps of sugar, some cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. That helps it a lot!

Asian Coconut Rice

Very good! I toasted the rice first in coconut oil to add a little extra coconut flavor. I added some sugar and more liquid (slightly more) then it called for. Turned out very nice.
