Weeknight Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
Made this for New Years and it was yummy. Made a couple changes. After I rolled up chicken I coated with egg wash and rolled in a mix of half flour, half bread crumbs with paprika. Did not need toothpicks. Then I browned rolls which locks the moisture in the chicken. Baked without sauce for about 30-40 minutes. On the stove top I combined cream with cream of chicken with herbs soup and added swiss and cheddar to the sauce. we love cheese. Very good next time i will just use milk for the sauce as cream is so fattening and did not taste much differnt. THANKS for the recipe.

Yummy...My boyfriend was skeptical and said he would just make a sandwich...After it started to cook, it smelled wonderful... He gave in and ate 3 bowls! I used canned carrots and frozen spinach for a quick mix. BRAVO!

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2006
So good!!! Added paprika parsley, and curry to taste. Adding about a cup of cooked liquid back to flour mix made it easy to mix with soup and not lumpy. Next time I will double the brocolli since it nearly dissolves while cooking. Would be just as good with no chicken. Can't wai till winter to curl up to a bowl.

Spicy Maryland Crab Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2006
My boyfriend and I visited Maryland for Spring Break and ate crab dip at nearly every meal. After returning to KY we missed it so much we were determined to find a similar recipe. This one is dead on. We make it all the time and if pressed have even used fake crab. This recipe is wonderful!!! Serve on slices of italian bread.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2006
This is so easy and it turns out great everytime. Use stick butter for best results. I break cream cheese into pieces then use a wisk to make it creamy. Also we use almost a whole shaker of cheese. A lot less work than the original and my family loves it. Our next attempt will be to use on a pizza crust with chicken and mozzerella. Can't wait!!!

Banana Caramel Fluff

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
Very quick and super easy. It does take like banana bread only in 10 minutes. Next time I would double the banana topping to cover. You could divide into triangles and serve with ice cream. I also added coconut.

Seven Layer Salad

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
Very good and just the traditional recipe I was looking for. I have made this for Easters a few times and it is always a hit. Just make sure to defrost peas or they make the whole thing runny.

I made this yesterday for mother's day and it was really good. Mom loved it and wanted me to write down the recipe as soon as she took the first bite. Also the honey mustard was great and I might make it by itself for chicken and salads mmmmmmmmmmmm good!

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2006
Mmmmmmm...... This was good. Like others have said you only need half the box of noodles and I used hot italian sausage and it turned out great. It is even better the next day because it holds together better. Try adding more alfredo and putting over spagetti or fettucini noodles.
