My Special Shrimp Scampi Florentine

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
I made this last night and it was amazing!! I used all the ingredients mentioned, and the recipe was very true to its description. Made it taste like restaurant quality and was so easy to make, with only a few ingredients. One thing to note..my daughter and I do not, i repeat, do NOT eat tomatoes ever. I decided to add some thinking that i would pick them out. We ate the tomatoes too, as it had all the flavors of this dish. I served this over pasta. think it's the combination of the flavors that makes it perfect. Definitely recommended, and will be making again.

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I made this for my mom who has to have a low sodium diet. It was just o.k. Maybe salt would have made it awesome, but the description of it made me think it would be the perfect low sodium option. It wasn't a rave hit, but it was just o.k.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I tried this for Thanksgiving as an alternative from the traditional casserole, especially after seeing all the great reviews. This was a bust, not very good. I followed the recipe to a tee, and did not add as much salt, and the flavor was not right at all. I won't be trying this again.

This was very easy to make and quite dee-lish! I used a smoked turkey leg, minced garlic, garlic powder, chicken broth, and a dash of liquid smoke, all thrown into the crock pot and this is just perfect. Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
I just made this tonight and my family loved it! It was quick and easy to make, a lot of the ingredients were in my kitchen already, not a lot of prep work, and came out moist, juicy and delicious. I did have to use more olive oil than the recipe stated, and did have tons of extra breadcrumbs left. I also lightly seasoned the chicken with seasoning salt, and used fresh garlic and shaved and grated parmesan. The outcome was dee-lish! Great recipe and now a part of our list of preferred menus.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
This was the bomb. I combined this with another recipe I had on hand for lasagna, and it was delish! I did let the dish sit overnight, which helped the flavors mesh together. It was perfect. I also added some colby-jack cheese, instead of the ricotta, which I'm not a big fan of.

Breakfast Casserole II

Maybe I didn't make it correctly, but it was just ok. I did let it cook for over an hour, but it was still just o.k. I won't be trying this again.

Seasoned Cornish Hens

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
12/2007 original review The flavor was good, but it took about an additional 45 min to thoroughly cook the hens. By the time it was done, I felt like I could have ran to the store and bought something in place of this. Not sure if I would do again, due to the length of time to cook. ***11/28/2008 UPDATE*** So I redid this for thanksgiving, ensuring that I followed the recipe and cooked it longer. The results were AWESOME!!!! My family could not stop raving about this and requesting this. This time, I halved each hen, and then soaked the hens overnight in a ziploc to marinate it. The next day I just threw it in the oven for like 1 hour 45 min. Let me tell you, these hens were finger licking good..Awesome flavor, taste, texture..Loved it!!!

I get rave reviews on this meatball recipe. I save the leftovers for meatball sandwiches, and the sauce can be used like a barbecue sauce. De-lish!

This is the best and so easy to make. It looks like a dish prepared in a restaurant and tastes like one as well. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe. Excellent!!
