Sweet & Spicy St. Louis Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2015
These were good ribs with a somewhat different flavor due to the cinnamon and cloves. While I liked them, my personal preference is for a less sweet rib. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Smithfield!

Amazing Cucumber Basil Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2015
I'm not sure how I feel about this dish as a salad, or side dish, per se. I agree with another reviewer, in that it would make a nice topping for grilled chicken. I felt the flavors were a little too strong to eat alone as a side dish or salad, at least for our preferences. Thanks for sharing your recipe, RainbowJewels!

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2015
5 stars all the way! I cut this recipe in half and was able to get 12 medium sized rolls that fit perfectly in a 13x9 baking dish. I thought the amount of filling was perfect and the frosting was a nice accompaniment to the rolls. Thanks for sharing this great recipe, FIONASMOM! It's a keeper!

Chicken Club Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2015
I lightened this recipe by using veggie pasta, lite salad dressing and lite mayo. I used mild cheddar, as I had some on hand. I thought this salad was good. It would make a nice addition to a pot luck. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Lane J!

This is a great salad with a nice balance of flavors. It's also a great way to use leftover grilled steak! Thanks for sharing, Dole!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: May 21, 2015
Easy, fast, economical, GOOD = 5 star recipe in my world! I used whole grain pasta and reduced fat sour cream to help make it a bit healthier. I also cut the recipe in half, using an 8x8 baking dish, which fit perfectly. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Colleen B. Smith!

Homemade Veggie Pizza

Reviewed: May 19, 2015
I thought this was pretty good pizza. I particularly liked the sauce. The crust didn't quite live up to my expectations, as in not being crispy enough for my tastes, although it was crispier than a lot of other crusts I've tried. The sauce was really easy to make and had great flavor. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Bird!

Buffalo Chicken Calzone

Reviewed: May 15, 2015
This had great buffalo flavor and was so easy to put together. Especially if you cheat and use leftover grilled chicken! I used thin refrigerated pizza crust, which worked great. Obviously, a homemade crust would have taken this up a notch, but for a quick, easy meal, it was pretty tasty! Thanks for sharing this recipe, lukeybear2007!

Wedge Salad with Elegant Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: May 15, 2015
This was good, but probably not my favorite blue cheese dressing. It was a bit thinner than I prefer and a tad too sweet for me. I made the dressing the night before so the flavors could blend. Overall, it was very easy to put together and had great presentation. Thanks for sharing this recipe, cabanagrl!

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 11, 2015
My 30 year old daughter, not knowing the title of this recipe, said she thought these might be the best chocolate chip cookie she's ever eaten" - LOL...I thought they were exceptionally good, as well. I followed the recipe exactly and therefore netted 24 GIANT cookies (equivalent to three typical sized cookies). I would definitely make this recipe again! Thanks for sharing, Felix K!

Kris' Amazing Shredded Mexican Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2015
This was very good and had a lot of flavor. I cut the roast down to 2 pounds but kept everything else the same except the chipotle peppers (I used two peppers). It was one the verge of being too spicy for my family, but was pretty close to being perfect. I cooked it on low for ten hours in lieu of cooking it on high for eight hours, as the recipe indicated. The roast literally fell apart and was cooked perfectly. We served on baked corn tortillas with lettuce, monterray jack cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. It made for a wonderful meal! Thanks for sharing your recipe, happygirl820!

Chef Gerard's Award Winning Caesar Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2015
Recipe Group Selection 4/2015. I put everything into my food processor except the olive oil and whizzed it to a smooth consistency. With the processor still going, I trickled in the olive oil until it was fully incorporated. After tasting I had to add sugar to get it to a flavor we liked. I was not wowed by the flavor of this dressing, but of course that could just be a matter of preference. I love trying different homemade dressings and I appreciate the opportunity to have tried this one. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Bueny!

Griddle Style Philly Steak Sandwiches

We loved these simple, tasty sandwiches! I cleaned out my cheese drawer and used provolone, swiss and pepper jack. All three were tasty, but the pepper jack was my favorite! Thanks, AUTUMNHEARTS!

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2015
I thought this blueberry sauce was wonderful! Unlike some other reviewers, I did not fin he orange juice flavor overpowering at all, even upon serving it immediately. While I could taste a hint of orange, I could also taste a hint of almond and cinnamon, but the primary star was the blueberries (I used frozen). The only change I made to this recipe was reducing the sugar to 1/2 cup and I would not hesitate to do it again, as it was plenty sweet for us. Thanks for sharing this great recipe, ISYBEL!

Mami Elva's Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2015
I loved this fruit salad and so did my Easter guests. My recommendation would be to make sure you drain all the canned fruit really well, as it does have a tendency to get a little watery after it sits. I had to drain the excess liquid a couple of times after the salad was made. Leftovers the next day were still very good, and the walnuts and apples were still crunchy. I did not bother to halve the cherries. Thanks for the easy, tasty recipe, Espinoza!

Yummy Summer Pea Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2015
This was very good and was well received at our Easter dinner. It is one of those salads that gets better the longer it sits. Leftovers the next day were just as good or even better than on day 1! Thanks for he tasty, easy recipe, tstancell! (Note: I used lite mayo and red wine vinegar. I also used the regular, cheaper raisins in lieu of golden raisins)

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2015
These are very good, but very time consuming. I opted to chop the onion as opposed to slicing into rings and I mixed the onions into the sliced potatoes as opposed to layering it all in the middle. I also increased the cheese to two cups. Very good and very well received. Thanks for sharing, CathyM!

Northwest Steakhouse Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2015
I thought this was a pretty good steak marinade. I'm not sure if it knocked my socks off enough to justify the calories, but for a rare occasion, I would consider it. The steak came out tender and mildly, but pleasantly seasoned. Thanks for sharing this recipe, JETTABLONDE72!
