Make sure the butter isn't too hot when you add it in. The result is pretty average.

This is a relatively quick and easy recipe for a nice pie that looks great.I gave it 4 stars because I think it an be improved. I prefer a richer darker chocolate that's less sweet.

I couldn't taste the apple enough and I tasted the yeast a little too much but I still enjoyed them. We made them for a group of 5 people and got mixed reviews.

Chocolate Muffins

I baked these for 12 minutes in a mini muffin tin. Nice chocolate flavor and not too sweet, good texture.

I made the recipe as written but baked them (13 minutes at 350) as mini muffins because I am making a basket of minis for a brunch tomorrow. These are my least favorite in the basket because the flavor is too weak. It doesn't taste bad, just kind of boring.

Sandy's Chocolate Cake

I love everything about this cake. I used Pam and the cakes came out of the pans easily and perfectly level. The taste and texture of the cake is super. It would taste wonderful with or without frosting. I did make it with frosting though since I wanted it to look pretty for guests. I was a bit short on the confectioner's sugar since 1 box only has 3 3/4 cups but it tasted sweet enough for me and all of my guests. My fiance said that it's the best chocolate cake I have ever made.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Apple-Cranberry Crisp

I like that it's not too sweet but some of the flour on top was not cooked through at the end so I had to add a tiny bit more butter and put it back in the oven for a few minutes.
