I've just now (4-years late) decided to update my about me and enter my reviews. I have been cooking since I was 12 years old and my mom let me in the kitchen by myself. I only had a few rules: 1. Clean up after yourself; 2. If you make it, you must eat it; 3. No fires.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite dishes to cook are Asian-style foods and flavors. I particularly like the whole idea of using curries, and to that end I like to try recipes that involve the broad spectrum of them.
I'm also a homebrewer...but that's a whole other realm of cooking.
My cooking triumphs
Finding ways to make meals that require milk and cheese WITHOUT either (lactose issues). Thank you tofu and the variety of 'milks' made from rice, soy and almonds.
My cooking tragedies
Let's just say that sometimes I mis-read the quantities of ingredients.
